Diane's POV

after we finished getting dressed we walked down the hall and saw Goose and Maverick in Viper's office getting in trouble

"whattaya think happened" i asked "Maverick flies like you, so either broke the hard deck or did something completely stupid" she replied shrugging

we waited outside the office for them to come out and Goose doesn't even notice us, instead he sarcastically tells maverick he "really enjoyed that" then fell back on the wall "maybe i could learn to be a truck driver, Mav you have the number of that truck driving school we saw on TV? Truck master i think it is" he finally turns our way at the end

"God you're just like Michelle" i laughed "what happened anyway" i asked them

"flew below the hard deck and did a fly by" Maverick answered "ha! called it" Michelle called out, and the three of us just looked at her "too soon?" she asked

"how did you know that's what happened"Maverick asked her "well you and Dash fly the same so i thought What Would Dash Do" she answered

me and Maverick looked at eachother with a sly smile knowing it was true

Later that day

i put on a pair of jean shorts and a white t-shirt i know it's boring but i don't even know where we're going

at 5:00pm sharp i heard a knock on the door i walked over and opened it to see goose standing there

"Hey Goose!" i smiled up at him "hey annie" he replied my smile grew wider "bye Mica I'll be home sometime tonight" i called out she responded with a "where you going" but i just shut the door and left her

me and Goose drove over to the beach and the sun was setting i walked along the warm sand watching the beautiful colours

"it's gorgeous" i cooed "you're gorgeous" he replied i looked at him then covered my face "stop you made me blush" i exclaimed into my hands

i hate blushing it's really embarrassing when you're with someone you really like

he pulled my hands away from my face and i sigh "hey wanna do something fun?" i asked him "like what" he asked and I pointed to the water "we don't have bathing suits" he told me "so?" i shrug and took off my shoes

i grabbed his arm and tried pulling him but he pulled me back into him, i looked up at him and he leaned down to kiss me and so did i next thing i knew we were kissing

his hands were on my waist mine on the sides of his face

when we pulled away "woah" was all i could say "that's all you could think of?" he laughed "woah" i repeated while still looking up at him and he kissed me again

we spent hours on the beach alone talking and laughing and... other stuff

i've grown real feelings towards Goose, which is really surprising considering i haven't felt this way about someone so fast ever

when he drove me home it was late

i got to the house and started walking to the room i was staying in "Diane Alexandra Parker where were you" i heard Michelle from behind me i jumped hearing her voice in the quiet hall

"jesus christ you fucking scared me" i replied "where were you" she asked again "the beach" i answered "with who" she asked "Goose" i sheepishly smiled "awwww" she cooed

"what'd you guys do" she asked "we talked, watched the sunset, kissed" i shrug trying to hide the fact im freaking out

"awww i love you two" she smiles "i need to go to sleep before my face gets stuck like this" i tell her and we both go to bed
