Diane's POV

Goose convinced me to stay till graduation but the last few days have been hell

we're on a mission and i do have a clear shot of Jester but i just couldn't do it

i hear sundown on the mic telling me to take the shot but i didn't

we all landed and started walking back inside

"D, we could've had him! we could've had him D!" Sundown exclaims i turned around to look at him "can you leave me the fuck alone! i'm not an idiot i know" i yelled at him and continued walking leaving him stunned

i've never yelled at someone here they've never seen me in a bad mood

i got changed and walked out of the girls change room which was now only me

i walked past Iceman but he called me "Parker, i'm sorry about Ace. we all liked her" he says as if it was a challenge to get the words out i turned to face him "thanks ice" i nodded and kept walking

I talked to Viper and told him i'm thinking of quitting and he told me i have the next 24 hours to figure it out

i went to a local bar just to be alone and Mav walked in

he sat next to me "you're leaving?" he asked me "maybe" i answered dryly "you can't leave, Michelle would want you to keep flying" he told me i looked at him "we both know that's not true" i shook my head, he sighed "she'd still fly" he tried to convince me to stay

"she would, i'm not her" i replied "c'mon D, you really wanna leave me and Goose" he said, i thought for a second "fine. i'll stay" i told him

i made it past the week and graduated with everyone
