---------------Percy's POV: ----------------

Nico's hug was warm, unlike his usual self which was cool in demeanor.

"gods Percy, I can't believe this stuff always happens to you, I mean seriously? Can't the gods find a new obsession." I let out a chuckle as he backed up, allowing Will a chance to give me a hug.

"You're telling me." I said, I laughed as the kids ran around me, playing a game of tag, I barely managed to dodge a extended hand determined to tag me.

I backed from the hug as Will's smile radiated it's eternal happiness, or at least what seemed like it.

My bags were on the ground, tons of gifts and other assorted things of the like were crammed inside. I couldn't help but be grateful for so many caring people who loved me. I wished I could stay longer but something told me to get going, to go back to Gotham and see the kids.

To see Bruce.

"You really should stay" Will said as if reading my mind and not liking my answer. I almost scowled at his astuteness. I'd once brought it up to him but he'd claimed it was all due to him working in the infirmary, that you naturally learned body language and to read even the smallest of things but I'm not sure that I believed him. Of course I wouldn't know for sure though. "Everyone's going to miss you."

I placed a hand on Will's shoulder, smiling brightly. "I'm only a phone call away...and a bus ride, but that's not important, what's important is that now you all have a personal tracking device placed on me." I winked a look of confusion crossing both their faces. I only pointed to the sky before leaning down and picking up my bags. "But I really do have to go. Maybe I can visit soon, bring along the kids, but for now..." I turned away from the duo, looking up the hill at Thalia's tree. "I think I need to go back to them." I turned back to Will and Nico, both having their own forms of smiles. Nico's was small but clear if you knew him well and Will's was as bright as the sun itself.

"If you say so, but I'm going to hold you to that you understand?" Will asked, pointing a finger at me. I held up my hands, nodding and chuckling.

"For sure, now I gotta get going, bye!" I turned, finding Ms.O'leary in big dog mode, her shaggy black hair blowing with the gentle breeze of the sunset. The orange and pink tones reflected beautifully off her coat and I couldn't help but wonder if someone had been maintaining her coat. It looked amazing.

Shaking my head and putting my thoughts aside, I pulled myself onto her back, a bark escaping her before we were suddenly in full sprint. I hadn't been fully adjusted, causing me to begin sliding. I quickly clung to her for dear life as we ran into and through the shadow of one of the trees.

Everything was dark for a second before we were suddenly in the sunset painted driveway of the manor, the sleek black limo parked in front of the door reflected the colors stunningly. I took in a breath, the smoggy air had somehow become refreshing, something I never thought I'd say about Gotham which, up until a few months ago was a scary dark place. It was crazy how things like this changed, transformed without your permission or thought. You never really knew till it was too late.

With that final thought I hopped off Ms. O'Leary's back, earning a bark in return. I smiled up at her, tossing her a treat. She transformed into a smaller version of herself, but still staying quite large.

"Hey Ms. O'Leary, can you try and take these bags back to my apartment? Please don't break anything" I asked, leaning down as I placed the bags within a shadow. Ms. O'Leary barked in return, grabbing the bags with her jaws before disappearing. I smiled down at the spot before turning my attention to the manor.
