Her fingers were fitting between the spaces separating his own.

He couldn't help but look down upon how well they did.

The spaces were small and so were her fingers.

While his fingers were so long, they could almost fully circle around hers.

If two hands were meant to be held by one another, they were theirs.

The moonlight caused a single white spot to reflect upon his eyes, and she couldn't help but stare into them, mesmerized by their utter beauty, their light, no matter how dark everything else sometimes was.

He had his head rested on top of hers, his hair tickling her skin.

One of his hands, the one that wasn't holding hers, pointed towards his favorite places in their small town; the playground where he used to play as a child, his family house, the tree under which he had his first kiss, where his dog was buried, the hill were he used to run to as a teenager, which till now, was his safe place.

He told her that it was the place he went to the first time she rejected him.

It was also the place he ran off to and spent hours and hours screaming it to the world when she finally said yes to going on a date him.

She was struck with a wave of emotion, but mostly, an urge to kiss him again.

She refrained, biting down on her lip to keep it from trembling, as she buried her face into his chest, taking in his soothing scent.

He was silent, simply holding her to him, needing nothing more than just that.

Too soon, they had arrived in front of her house, and he knew he had to let her go.

He stood there, holding both her hands how, eyes unable to look away from their intertwined hands.

" We've been standing here for like 15 minutes now." She noted, although, she didn't want to go any more than he wanted her to.

" Yeah." He sighed.

" I had a lovely time, Harry." She smiled, feeling her heart swelling at how easy it all was with him.

" Yeah?" He perked up, eyes lifting to hold hers.

" Yeah." She nodded, laughing slightly.

" I should go inside."

" Yeah." His face fell again, and she couldn't help but laugh, because God, he was such a child at times, she loved how he had managed to cling to his innocence, when the world seemed to be absorbing it all away.

" Goodnight, Harry." She whispered, leaning in, almost allowing herself to kiss him, before she moved her lips to his cheek instead.

He seemed a bit disappointed, although, he managed to light up with the mere contact.

She pulled away, retrieving her hands from his, before she walked into her building.

She fought against herself to not turn back and steal a final glance at him, in fear of giving in to her needy heart.

The elevator came, and she stepped in, but just as the door began to close, two large hands stopped it, and then, there he was.

Panting, like he'd been running a marathon, eyes as bright as ever, although there was no moon and no stars and no spark anywhere but in him.

" I'm going to kiss you now."

" Yeah." She barely managed to whisper before his lips were on hers, and his hands were holding her face instead of her hands, and that too, fit perfectly.

She smiled against him, and like his lips couldn't possibly help but respond to hers, so did he.

They kissed and they smiled and they laughed and they didn't stop until they had lost both their breaths.

He rested his forehead against hers, his eyes fluttering closed in pure bliss.

" Now, I can let you go. Goodnight, love." He breathed, pecking her lips, to savor their taste, before fully detaching himself from her.

" Goodnight, Harry."

And the doors closed, as he waved goodbye, one last time, all smiles, and bright green eyes, and heart so big, that it could love the whole world, but only loved her.
