I was out on a table as the physical therapist stretched my legs right as dad walked through the door and saw the therapist

Johnny: Sorry, I thought you said you'd be alone at 10:00

Jack: Sorry, mom gets free physical therapy from work since she transferred from Long---

I stopped talking when I saw Miguel walk in and I just glared at him and looked towards dad who looked nervous for some reason

Jack: What the fuck is he doing here?

I looked at the therapist and glared at him and he stopped and I shifted so I was sitting on the edge of the massage table my legs dangling lifelessly and that just made me more angry and I glared down to them

Miguel: Look, Jack I'm sorry--

Jack: Kiss my ass! I don't need your sympathy man so you better get the fuck out of here before I do something to you...

Evelyn: *Softly* Jackie...

I looked behind me and saw mom covering her mouth with her hand tears on the brim of falling and she pointed to my legs and I looked down and I was shocked before I smiled, I was standing on my own without anyone's help and I looked at Johnny and chuckled tried walking towards him and when I took a step towards him and I fell flat on my face

Evelyn: Jackie!

She rushed and helped me up with dad and Miguel's help

Jack: *Sighs* Too good to be true...

Robby sat across from Kreese in the visiting room

Kreese: Let me tell you about your dad. He was always a scrapper. But the moment I knew he was the real deal was his first All Valley tournament. He made the quarters, but he drew a kid named Vidal. Now Vidal was a third generational black belt. Very skilled. Way beyond Johnny, at the time. Your old man lost. *Leans in* But he didn't make it easy. And I saw that look in his eyes that he will never let that happen again.

Robby: *Nods* Cool story, try telling it to someone who actually gives a shit about him, hmm?

Kreese: *Laughs* You're his son, all right.

Robby: Yeah and look where that got me.

Kreese: *Scoffs* Come on, kid. You know you don't deserve to be here. From what I heard you tried to break up the fight and... Your brother attacked you. Sure you can keep beating yourself up for what went down. But by the look of your face, there's plenty of people happy to do it for you.

Robby: *Sighs* You're wasting your time, old man. The last thing I need is another sensei.

Kreese: Fair enough.

He stands up before leaning in towards Robby and whispered something

Kreese: I don't think there's anything I could teach right now anyway. Except maybe this... You see all that Miyagi-do mumbo jumbo... that might score you points in a tournament. But now you're in the real world, kid, you might wanna learn to strike first. I know your brother would want you too.
