"Let's get this party started!" Danji Kishibe shouted, pressing a button on the side of his helmet, the futuristic glass face plate displaying a glowing red circle. Suddenly, the hangar exploded with music from Danji's helmet.

"Ah I love this song!" Kenichi shouted back on the opposite side of the battlefield as My First Story's REVIVER rang out.

"So do I!" Danji shot forwards, his fist cocked back.

Kenichi smiled, meeting him head-on... literally.

Sound Matter and Bone Growth. Those were the two Quirks facing off. The ability to boost physical strength through the user's synching of their movements with the music from their playlist and the ability to expend calcium as external armor plating.

The class, watching on the sidelines, cringed as Danji's fist met Kenichi's helmet, a faceless mask made of graphene and Kenichi's own bones. It really lived up to his Hero name of Bonehead. Danji's body was no slouch whilst in the midst of a good song, but really, Kenichi was a walking suit of armor. He didn't have the same offensive capabilities as someone like Kirishima or Tetsutetsu, but he was just as, if not more so, unbreakable.

Danji's fist practically bounced back, while Kenichi took a single step forwards, his forearms growing into masses of bone. But it was unnecessary.

"Ahhhhh.... Shiiit..." Danji hissed, holding his wrist. "I think... it's broken..."

"It is," Kazumi confirmed, not needing a close up view to see the damage.

"I missed the timing," Danji cursed under his breath

"You okay?"

"Yep!" Danji shouted, charging forwards once more as the music crescendoed.

"Wait, that's not-"

The vocalist, guitar, and drums all hit a peak as Danji used his other hand to strike dead-center at Kenichi's chest. Without enough time to build up proper armor around the area, Kenichi could only manage a thin layer of calcium.

The resulting impact sent bone fragments scattering across the constructed battlefield like bits of shrapnel, some even embedding themselves in Danji's skin as payback for such an underhanded attack.

But the real payback came as Kenichi pulled himself to his feet. "The hell was that?!"

"Well, it is a fight, isn't it?"

Kenichi scowled under his mask, reaching down to his belt, where a few dozen box-shaped objects sat. But these were not compartments for holding gadgets. Rather, the boxes themselves were the gadgets.

Kenichi yanked off one, slamming the bottom of it into his opposite forearm. The motion caused a needle to jut out of the box and deep into his flesh. It was pure calcium.

"Fine. In that case, I'm gonna return the favor!"

Kenichi began building up massive amounts of bone around his chest and arms, with minimal plating around his shins so he could keep moving.

For Danji, it was clearly an, "oh shit," moment. He had managed to get the timing right on his music to amass enough power to destroy Kenichi's armor, but even then, the armor had been barely a quarter of the durability Kenichi could truly amass. And now, he had a pissed off walking statue of bone strutting towards him.

"I yield?" Danji hesitantly called out as he leapt back, narrowly avoiding Kenichi's fist as it slammed into the ground sending concrete bits scattering through the air.

"Nah!" Kenichi called out, "Come take a hit like a man!"

As Kenichi chased Danji around the arena, now capable of taking hits from the beat driven attacker, the sidelines conferred with Edgeshot.
