Hi, thanks for clicking on my story!

You can definitely just jump into reading, treating it like its own thing and taking whatever information it gives you. It isn't essential to preface. But in case you want some clarification on the AU, here are notes:

- Nancy, Robin, Steve and Eddie are all in the same grade (this story is their senior year of highschool), class of 1985
- No supernatural stuff happened
- Billy and Max moved to Hawkins in 1983, Billy a year older than the other teens and Max the same grade as the other kids
- The Byers moved to California in 1984, at the end of the kid's seventh grade
- Mike, Lucas, Dustin and Max are still besties and in eighth grade
- Starcourt summer, with Robin and Steve meeting at Scoops Ahoy, was summer of '84 (between junior and senior year)

Any character differences can just be credited to the timeline change; different events would affect them differently. Other information will just be in the actual story, so more is clarified then.

Sorry if it's confusing! Like I said, you can always mostly ignore that part and just read it lol
