His Yearning Heart

Izuku: "gnh...how far along are we to the next place?" 
Momiji: "we just barely left the mountain" 
Izuku: "I'm just worried for the others...Eri..nejire...My friends...Okuma" 
Momiji: "Okuma has been the master of the temple for years long...he's beaten both you and me in a match...I think he'll be fine" smiling to reassure him 
Izuku: "I just can't help but a darker force in the shadows is acting out...I long to hold them both in my arms again" 
Momiji: "and you will Izuku...You will"  as the cold night takes over the sky...the moon being bright...as Izuku now breathes out green fire on his hand...holding it up...unfazed by the heat...as it lights their way...following Momiji wherever he is needed next
Izuku: "You've been at the temple far longer than i have...have you ever met any of the other guardians...even if they were former ones?" 
Momiji shakes their head: "Okuma is the only to have trained with them...I asked him the same question..but he told me that they were a fearless group...once there were many..and now there's you and him..." 
Izuku: "you don't count yourself?" 
Momiji: "Hitokiri or Manslayer isn't exactly a hero name" 
Izuku: "nor is Shugoki but you don't need to be a hero...to protect the innocent...it's just a title...nothing more...nothing less" 
Momiji: "I guess you have a point...but...that's enough of that...So...Tell me what happened during your forest training trip...heard you saw a bunch of of the female students with no clothes on" 
Izuku: "hmm?..oh right...I walked into their hotsprings to check the conditions of both the wooden wall and the perimeter in the area...to ensure they are safe...since the incidents before hand made my paranoia go up...they are the students that i've been assigned to protect...one of them even tried to flirt with me about their body" 
Momiji just stifles a laugh 
Izuku: "I mean i told them i wasn't fazed by any of that...Momo had her outfit stuck on a tree when i did the final testing for them...and she had the same reaction when i walked into the hotsprings...they know I'm not exactly...normal...plus i never managed to find out what cockblocking means?" 
Momiji: "cock what?...like...a rooster?" 
Izuku: "I guess so?..but they said it has some other meaning..but never really pressed on about it...back to the story...she got angry at me when i asked if there was something wrong...then Momo said that i don't see the problem...it's just not the whole aspect of the situation that bothers me...it's...it's the nerve to be surprised" and got a laugh out of her...
Momiji: "I never knew that" 
Izuku: "yeah..it's been an experience working with them...they...i guess they brought out a side of me i never knew i had" 
Momiji: "I noticed..." and then Izukus smile faded 
Izuku: "until...until that happened...without hesitation...they looked at me like i was the one who caused everything...like...i'm the real villain here...all because i lost control...and couldn't take the pressure any longer" 
Momiji: "Because you locked your heart away...even back at then...when you were little...you never opened up about your past that much..only to an extent...Okuma knew you were in pain..he...he just didn't know how to help you...And i know your selfless behavior was used against you in a way" 
Izuku: "how so?" 
Momiji: "You put yourself above others needs instead of yourself...never accounting for your mental or physical state...I know...especially when you hid your broken rib when you first came in...just like your anger...You hide it from the others...and by doing that...it slowly build up until it just...Bursts...like...thunder it causes all that anger to be released...which put you into that primal state" 
Izuku: "...Never really thought about it...I just...I always wanted to keep people away from my burdens...even though most of the time i was there...I laid in a hospital bed...Because of my reckless behavior...Nejire cried...more than once i've done that to her...made her worry...I never knew...when i would do this...Everytime i hurt myself...I ended up hurting them in some way as well...you know what i mean?" and she nods 
Momiji: "well...like Okuma said one time..it's good to rely on someone...Guardians are made out to be these perfect and self preserving warriors...but...they all had to act together...as a unit...otherwise...it would fall apart" 
Izuku: " I see..."  
Momiji: "I hope you can open up more sometime...not now...maybe it won't happen tomorrow..or the next day...or month, year, and Decade...but...It will take time...alright?" 
Izuku: "right"  now he felt the flame started to die out...lighting it up again...they continue down the path...towards his next test
