A/N: Ah yes, the Nowhere. What fun.
"Y/N..."
"Y/N Pinker..."
Y/N let out a soft groan and rolled to the side, her eyes clenched shut as her teeth ground together. Her hands formed fists, her muscles tightening all through her body.
"Y/N..."
"Who are you," Y/N mumbled.
Riddle stirred at the sound of Y/N's voice, letting out a short noise of surprise when he heard her. He pushed himself up and rubbed his eyes, clearing away the sleep.
"Y/N..."
"You know who I am..."
Riddle's eyes widened when he realised that Y/N's body was flickering as if she was somewhere between the In-Between and the real world.
"Y/N!" He quickly sat up and grabbed Y/N's shoulders, trying to anchor her to the real world. "Y/N! Wake up!"
"Who are you?"
Riddle froze for a moment. Had she forgotten him? But then he realised she was still asleep. Was she talking to someone in her dreams?
"Y/N," he whispered, starting to shake her gently. "Y/N, wake up!"
The flickering form of a man appeared in the abyss, nothing more than a mere shadow. His body flickered in and out of existence, and Y/N shivered as she stood before him.
"I am your master, Y/N Pinker," the man said in a low raspy voice. "You remember me."
He took a step towards the frozen girl and before she could back away, he pressed the pad of his thumb to her forehead.
Y/N's body went rigid beneath Riddle's touch, now only half visible as she lay in the bed. Riddle jumped away from her, terrified by what he was seeing. She seemed to be in a peaceful slumber, but as her body started to flicker again, Riddle jumped from his bed and ran from his room, dashing into Trey's room.
"Trey," he shouted, tears springing to his eyes.
Trey jerked at the sudden voice. "W-what?!" He reached over to his bedside table and groped about for his glasses, eventually finding them and slipping them over his eyes. Then he turned to the door and frowned when he saw Riddle standing there. "Riddle? Wha-"
"It's Y/N."
Those were the only words Trey needed to hear and he was up in a second. He flew from his room and followed close behind Riddle. Y/N was still in her translucent state when they entered Riddle's room and the two quickly approached her.
"What do we do," Riddle cried, sitting beside Y/N.
"Call Che'nya," Trey said.
Riddle nodded and picked up his phone. He quickly called Che'nya, starting to pace as he waited for the cat to answer. Hopefully, the sleepy kitten would hear his phone ringing and would pick up. If he didn't Riddle had no idea what they would do. Neither he nor Trey really had any experience with the In-Between and the Nowhere, save for their recent adventure.
"'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves. Did gyre and gimble in the wabe. All mimsy were the borogoves. And the mome raths outgrabe. 'Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun, the frumious Bandersnatch."
Y/N shuddered as she imagined a world unlike any other that she could remember.
The sky was as dark as the bottom of the sea. The grass was as dead as a graveyard's residents. The twisted and gnarled branches of the trees scraped at the sky and howled in the wind that had stolen their voices.
