Seriously

Seriously, we were friends once

Actually, Best of Friends

But the mistakes we made

Are impossible to make amends.

But

I gave you a chance

You broke it, lost my trust

Made me feel alone

All my friendships crushed

But

I gave you a second chance

Because I wanted to forgive

I wanted to believe, that

Together, we'd be in bliss

But

You did it again

We're back where we started

I'm scarred and you didn't notice

I decided it's best we parted

And

It's been 6 months or so

Since we last spoke

And by then I knew that without you

I'd always be broke

So

I gave you a third chance

A third, unbelievable chance

"Let's start again, please?"

Forget the circumstance

But

Seriously, I forgot what you did.

Seriously, I forgot people don't change.

Seriously, I forgot my scars haven't healed.

Seriously, I forgot that I'm out of chances.

Seriously, I forgot.
