Deruth Henituse, Count of the Northeastern Region and Lord of Rain City, stood motionless on the terrace, watching his son stroll through the garden. He was unnaturally calm and concerned about his once playful son's distant and stoic demeanor. He could still recall his surprise at Ron's news. Cale awoke in a daze, almost befuddled by his surroundings. It was concerning news. He wanted to rush over, but the nobles attending his wife's funeral stopped him. He was still perplexed as to how his son remained motionless in his embrace. His son did not sob or cry. He stood there, expressionless. He couldn't help but blame himself. He remembered the curses and profanities his son had gotten for not crying over his mother's death.

Duke Fredo said, "You know what your son is going through, but you're just watching from afar."

It made Deruth tremble. He clenched his teeth. He was aware of it. He did.

"It's no use blaming now," Eruhaben said, looking at Deruth, "for the better he didn't turn out to be that jerk of a father who would throw his son after being left behind."

"As long as he's alive, he'll look into his eyes," he said into the air, looking down. This is sufficient. Everything will be fine as long as his son is still alive. He only had to work hard. He just needed to work even harder to protect his precious child. He felt someone staring at him. He raised his head and looked into his son's eyes. The eyes that used to be bright reddish-brown have now dulled.

"I don't like this..." Raon said. "Human..."

"Shh," Cale said as if it didn't matter. However, he was curious about the original Cale Henituse's life and what his other self in there did to change his future. He arrived in this world when Cale was eighteen years old. But Kim Rok Soo, who entered that world, was only eight years old. He's at the age where the real Cale had to go through all the hardships.

They have become estranged. They live in the same house, but it felt like they were strangers to each other. However, Deruth couldn't help but feel proud of his son, who was much stronger than him. Cale was also proud that the Real Cale was able to hold out and that Kim Rok Soo was responding to it.

He voiced that with a very proud voice. It reassured him that he didn't need to do anything. It was like that. Cale was the one who kept him safe and aided him in his recovery from insanity. "Such a strong child."

Ron, his Head Butler, had a serious expression, "Pardon me, my lord."

Ron, "while the young master is strong in your eyes, he is still a child. I am afraid that the young master will mature after this... So, I want to speak out of turn."

This is news. Really. The deputy butler, who didn't have a speck of loyalty to the county, spoke for Cale.

Hong, "Slay it, grandpa! You're the best!"

On, "Right! Defend Cale!"

Ron, "the Young Master has changed... Instead of taking this for granted, Count, shouldn't you be there by his side?"

"Right," he said, "and I should have."

He felt terrible about those thoughts.

"I personally don't like Ron-nim, but I like him there," Choi Han said.

"I don't need your opinion," Ron sneers as he begins to clean a cup of his daily lemon tea.

Alver laughs, "haha! I thought he was scary, but this part gives me the chills and warmth!"

Cale was unconcerned about the old man, and Kim Rok Soo intended for it to continue. When the time comes, he'll just toss this old man and his son, the male lead, aside and live a slacker life.
