April's pov:
We both get out of the car and headed towards the restaurant. Matt opens the door for me and I walked in.
We both sat down at a table and grabbed the menus...
Oh god. Why am I so gittery??!!
I look at the menu.
What the fuck! Ew all these meals look unappetizing.
I look up at Matt staring at him menu.
I try to cover my face behind my menu without seeming obvious.
Can he tell that I'm blushing up. Ahh I'm so embarrassed.
Matt: "Thank god!"
April: "What?"
Matt: "They have chicken tenders and fries!"
April: "Really?!"
Matt: "Yeah, look!"
April: "Finally, the only meal on here that is edible!"
We both laugh as a waiter comes...
Waiter: "What can I get you both to drink?"
Matt: "Root beer."
April: "Pepsi."
Waiter: "Alright, and are you guys ready to order?"
Matt: "Yes."
Me and Matt both order our chicken tenders and fries off the kids menu.
Waiter: "I'll get your drinks."
Once the waiter leaves me and Matt look at each other with our eyes wide open.
Matt: "Did you see his face?"
April: "YES! I saw the way he was judging us for ordering chicken tenders!"
Matt: "DID YOU SEE THE FACE HE MADE AT ME?!!"
We both laughed as the waiter comes back with our drinks.
Waiter: "Here is your drinks. Food should be here shortly."
The waiter placed our drinks on the table as me and Matt stare at each other in terror.
Once the waiter left we sighed in relief.
April: "You think he heard us talking about him?"
I whispered to Matt...
Matt: "I hope not."
We both laughed.

After a while the waiter finally comes back with our food.
Waiter: "Here's your food. Enjoy."
April: "Thank you!"
Waiter: "Your welcome."
The waiter said in an impolite tone.
The waiter walks away.
April scoffs...
April: "He definitely heard us talking about him!
I laugh.
Matt: "I hope he didn't spit in our food."
April: "MATT! We just got our food don't make me lose my appetite."
Matt: "Oh sorry."
Me and April started eating and talking, getting to know each other better...
April: "Ugh I'm full."
Matt: "Same. The food was so good though."
Waiter: "Are you guys finished?"
April: "Yes."
Waiter: "I will get the bill."
April: "Thanks."
The waiter leaves...
April: "Oh my god I read his name tag. You'll never guess his name."
Matt: "Is it Calvin!"
April: "Um no. It's Mark."
Matt: "Oh, I was close"
April: "But you'll nev- what? You weren't even that close."
I laugh.
April: "Anyways, you'll never guess how it's spelled."
Matt: "How?"
April: "M-A-R-Q-E"
Matt: "Your lying."
April: "No, that how you spell it. Marqe."
We both start laughing.
Marqe: "Here's the bill."
Matt and April: "AHHH"
