April's pov:

I was confused as to why Matt was being so supportive and happy, but I didn't mind!

We finished our food and Matt drove me back home...

April: "Bye!"
Matt: "Bye!"

I give Matt a kiss and headed inside.

Once I get inside I head to my room and start texting my friends about the news.

I then call my mom...

Mother: "April!!! Hello!"
April: "Hi, I'm guessing you heard the news?"
Mother: "Yes! I'm so happy for you!"
April: "Thanks! I'm still in shock!"
Mother: "I knew you could do it."

April: "Are you sure you didn't put in a good word for me?"
Mother: "No, I didn't!"
April: "Really?"
Mother: "Okay I might of! Just a little, but they said they would've accepted you either way so please don't get mad at me!

I chuckle...

April: "Okay, I won't!"

Fast forward a few months later...

Today is the day!

The day I head off to college...

Dad: "Are you all packed up?!"
April: "Yup!"

I grab my suitcase and bring it into the living room.

I look at my phone.

No notifications...

Why isn't anyone responding to me?! I'm leaving today!! Do they not care? Not even Matt?!

I sat on the couch upset that no one was coming to say their last goodbyes before I leave...

Dad: "Do you have your phone? Wallet? Oh bring some extra--"

I block out my dads voice...

Dad: "April? April! Are you even listening to me? Your flights in three hours!!"

April: "We still have lots of time, Dad! Chill!"

*Knock Knock*

April: "Who is that?!"
Dad: "Oh, that's probably my Amazon package!"

April: "Ugh got my hopes up for nothing!"
Dad: "Can you get the door?!"
April: "Sure."

I grunt getting up off the couch opening the door...

"SURPRISE!!!!"

I look in shock to see Matt, Nick, Chris, Mya, Noah, and my other friends...

April: "What? But you guys-"
Matt: "Did you really think we would miss you leaving for LA?!"
April: "Oh my god!"

I hug Matt.

Mya: "Girl you should be hugging me! I planned this!!!"
April: "Thank you Mya!!"

I hug Mya and everyone else.

Dad: "Oh so this isn't my amazon package? I thought you guys were coming later!"
April: "Dad, you knew about this?!!"
Dad: "Yup!"

I laugh...

Everyone comes in...

We decide to hangout for a bit before leaving.

Matt: "April, come!"
April: "Huh... Okay!"

Matt holds my hand leading me to my room...

Matt: "You should take this picture frame with you to LA!"

It was the empty picture frame that I was leaving empty till I had a good memory to put in it...

April: "But it's empty!"
Matt: "Here let me fix it..."

Matt opens up the picture frame and pulls out an photo and places it in.

I couldn't see the photo...

Matt finishes and flips over the picture frame...

Matt: "There now it's not empty anymore!"

I look at the picture frame and smile...

It was a selfie of me and Matt on our first date.

April: "I... love it!!"

I give Matt and hug and a kiss.

I take the picture frame and place it in my backpack.

After a while of hanging out it was time to head to the airport.

Matt, Chris and my dad grab my suitcases and put them in Matt's car.

I hop in the front of the car as Matt sits beside me since he was driving.

Nick, Chris, and my dad sit in the back.

In Mya's car, there was Noah and my other friends.

We arrived to the airport and did all that boring airport shit like checking out my bag and security and stuff.

My airplane was boarding and it was time for me to leave...

April: "I guess it's time..."
Dad: "I'm going to miss you sweetie!"
April: "I'm going to miss you too!"

My dad gives me a big hug.

The I hug Mya...

Mya: "Can't believe your leaving me! But I'm happy for you! Have fun in LA, and send pictures!!"
April: "I will!"

Then Nick hugs me...

Nick: "Even though you, Matt, Mya, and Chris made me fifth wheel all the time, I'm still going to miss you!"

I giggle...

April: "I'm going to miss you too!"

Chris goes in for a hug next...

Chris: "It's been fun! I'll see ya!!"
April: "Yeah, I'll miss you!"

Noah was next...

Noah: "You made Panera Bread fun so thank you! I'm going to miss you!"
April: "We had great times at Panera!!"

And finally it was Matt...

He gives me the biggest hug. Wrapping his arms around my waist slightly picking me up.

He places me down...

Matt: "I'm going to miss you, April."
April: "I'm going to miss you too!"

Matt smiles at me...

Matt: "I love you..."

I look at Matt in shock.

I then slowly smile...

April: "I love you too!"

Matt pulls me in for a kiss as Nick, Chris, Mya, and Noah scream and cheer for us...

Mya: "SO CUTE!!"
Nick: "OH MY GOSH!!"
Chris: "Aww!"
Noah: "I'm crying. Why am I crying!"

I laugh...

Dad: "April your flights leaving, you should get going!"
April: "Your right! Bye guys!!"

Dad: "Bye sweetie!"
Mya: "Bye!!!"
Noah: "Byeee!!"
Nick: "Bye!!"
Chris: "Bye!"
Matt: "Bye April!"

I wave hopping on the plane.

I look for my seat and sit down.

I let out a big sign.

Good bye Massachusetts...
