April's pov:

I rub my eyes and yawn looking out of the plane window...

Flight assistant: "Ladies and gentleman we have arrived in Los Angeles, California! Please remain seated with your seatbelt fastened and keep the aisles clear until we have parked the plane at the gate!"

Finally, we're here!

I grab my bags and head off the plane.

Flight assistant: "I hope you enjoyed your flight, have a nice day!"
April: "You too!"

I head down the ramp and look around.

I've always wanted to visit LA!

I head inside the airport to the baggage claim.

I find my suitcase and grab it.

I then head to the front of the airport.

My mother currently lives in LA so she intended to pick me up.

I look around when I heard...

Mother: "April! Over here!"
April: "Hi!"
Mother: "I'm so glad you made it here safely! Alright let me drive you to your apartment!"

She leads me to her car where I load my bags. She then drives us to my apartment.

April: "You really didn't have to get me an apartment. I'm fine with sharing a dorm!"
Mother: "Trust me you'll regret having to share a dorm with someone!"

We get to the apartment and my mother lets me do the honors of unlocking the door.

She hands me the key and I unlock the door revealing my apartment. It was already furnished...

April: "Woah! This is nice. I've never lived by myself before!"

My mother helps me load all my bags into my new apartment.

Mother: "Alright that's your last suitcase!"
April: "Thanks for everything!"
Mother: "Of course! I'll head out now, enjoy!"
April: "Bye!"

She leaves...

I grab my backpack and unzip it.

I head to my room placing the picture frame of me and Matt on my night stand...

Perfect!!

Alright, time to unpack...

2 hours later...

I finished unpacking and decided to order some food.

Hmm I think I want Chipotle! Oh shoot what's my apartment number. Its 36 right? The delivery guy better not deliver my food to the wrong apartment!

I play on my phone for a bit when I started getting a FaceTime call from my dad...

Dad: "Hello?"
April: "Dad!"
Dad: "April! How's everything?"
April: "Good!"
Dad: "Already settled in?"
April: "Yup! Oh let me show you my apartment! This is the living room, over here is the kitchen..."

I give my dad a full apartment tour over FaceTime.

April: "And over here is where the washing and drying machines are-"

*Ringgg*

The door bell rings...

Dad: "Who is that?"
April: "Oh that must be my food!"

I run over to the door grabbing my food.

Dad: "Oh, well I'll hang up to let you eat. Have fun, and make sure to lock your door!!"
April: "I will! Bye dad!!"
Dad: "Bye sweetie!"

I hang up and start eating my food.

I finished my food.

I was bored so I decided to FaceTime Matt...

April: "Matt!!"
Matt: "April!!!"
April: "Look!! I'm in LA!!"

I say this while standing in front of a window to show outside...

Matt: "I can see!"
April: "And look at my apartment!!"

I proceed to give Matt an apartment tour...

Matt: "That's nice!"
April: "I know right!"

I then hear someone in the background of Matt...

Nick: "Who is that? Oh is that April?! HI APRIL!!"
April: "Hi Nick!! Look I'm in LA!!"
Nick: "Oh my god, fun!!"
April: "Let me give you an apartment tour!!"
Matt: "Bruh."

I then give Nick an apartment tour...

Nick: "That's so fun!"
April: "I know right!"
Chris: "Are you guys talking to April? Oh hi April!!"
April: "Chris! Look I'm in LA!!"
Chris: "WOW!!"
April: "Let me give you an apartment tour!"
Chris: "Okay!!"
Matt: "BRUHH!!"

Matt's pov:

I sit through a third apartment tour from April...

She looks so happy though...

I look closely and notice the picture frame of us on her nightstand.

I smile...

I then watch April talk about her favorite thing in her apartment for the third time...

April: "Look I even have a mini fridge in my room! A fricking mini fridge!!"
Chris: "Woahh!!"
April: "I've always wanted a mini fridge!!"

I couldn't help but smile at how excited she'd get over the little things...

She's so cute!
