Orion Pax: Part 3

Karina's POV

I finished the small energon cube and am feeling refreshed. While we're here, I had u ship some energon cubes back to base. Why not take some and restock our supply a little? "We're being attacked by some kind of giant bug beetle!" Jack tells us over the comm.

"Insecticon" Ratchet states.

"A what?" Nurse Darby asks.

"What are decepticons doing on Cybertron?" Raf asks.

"A few remained in stasis, sentries should the enemy return" Ratchet explains. Arcee told Jack to run. "The key card is Jack's guide" he says when Nurse Darby says Arcee was Jack's guide. Remind her that Arcee is Jack's back up.

"Listen to her Jack, you've made it this far. Optimus is counting on you" Nurse Darby tells him.

"Rodger that mum" Jack says.

"So what can you tell us about these insecticons?" I ask Ratchet.

"All known Insecticons are taller than most transformers, even than Optimus Prime and Megatron. They have a green color job with a single optic stretched across their helm. They transform into beast form similar to your Hercules Beetle" he explains.

"Can Arcee handle a lone insecticon?" I ask.

"Yes, just as long as she avoids waking up others. She and Jack should be fine" he assures us.

"Commencing download, I think" Jack tells us.

"Soon Optimus" Ratchet says. I nod my head in agreement.

"This is taking a while" Jack states.

"Of course it is, we are talking about the collective wisdom of the Primes" Ratchet reminds him.

"What!" we hear Jack shut.

"Jacl, what is it?" I ask him.

"Scraplets" he states.

"What's a scraplet?" June asks.

"Cybertron vermin, eat anything metal and love living metal" I tell her.

"Why did it have to be scraplets?" Bulkhead whines.

"If they chew through Vector Sigma before the Matrix fully reloads" Ratchet says. My necklace heats up. I freeze, that only happens around cons.

"So Vector Sigma is more then legend" Megatron states. We turn to see him coming through a ground bridge. We get ready to fight. "You autobots have gone through impressive lengths to recover your leader. I shall never underestimate you again" he states. Ratchet puts me on the console.

"We'll handle this, keep that portal open" he tells me. I nod. As Megatron heads our way.

"Now I assume the one known as Arcee will come through that portal, with a reloaded Matrix of Leadership in hand" Megatron states.

"We hold the Space Bridge at all costs" Ratchet tells the others. They attack Megatron. Energy builds up in my hands as Megatron punches Bulkhead. Sending him flying. He then throws Ratchet. Bee fires at him. Megatron slams him into the ground.

"Bee, no!" I shout and fire an energy pull at Megatron. "You won't hurt them anymore" I declare as I float above the console.

"Well you are full of surprises, you can't beat me" he tells me.

"We'll see about that" I sneer and fire at him. Ratchet tackles him and Megatron throws him into a pillar. Then Bulkhead rams into Megatron.

"You're going down bucket-head!" he yells. They roll along the ground into a wall and a dust cloud forms. Obscuring my vision. I fly over to Bee.

"Bee, get up" I say as I land in front of him. But he doesn't move. "Ratchet" I say as tears appear in my eyes. Suddenly Bulkhead lands beside us and I scream. Megatron ignores me looking a the portal. No, I can't let him get the Matrix.

I take off and fly at him. I land on his neck and hug his cables shocking him. He yells in pain and makes a grab for me. I duck, but continue to shock him. "You won't get the Matrix!" I shout. Suddenly he grabs me and tosses me towards the wall. I make a protective circle around me and bounce off it and land on the ground hard. My vision starts to fade. "No, he can't win" I groan and try to get up.

He picks me up and hold me in his servo. I try to shock him, but I've used to much energy. "You put up a good fight techno-organic. But you never stood a chance of beating me" Megatron tells me.

"Rot in hell" I groan.

"Ratchet, Karina we have the Matrix. We're coming through" Arcee states. I remain silent. If I don't answer, Arcee will no there's trouble. "Ratchet, Karina?" she asks.

"Speak" Megatron mouths at me and I just shake my head glaring at him. He activates his blade with a smirk. "Come Arcee, so that I might end the linage of the Primes for all time" he says.

"I can not allow that to happen Megatron" Optimus states. Megatron turns to face him.

"Optimus!" I call.

"And why should you care Orion Pax?" Megatron asks him. "You're no Prime" he states.

"He's wrong Optimus, you are a Prime. You may not remember, but your body does. Trust in yourself, like I do" I tell him.

"Silence" Megatron tells me squeezing me. I scream in pain.

"This much I do know, my sympathies lie with the Autobots. And you are not one of us" Optimus tells him. He activates his gun and blade. "Now release the human" he orders. Megatron drops me and they begin to fight. I scream in agony as I feel my shoulder dislocate and a few ribs crack.

"Karina!" Jack shouts as my senses start to come back. I notice Arcee fighting Megatron.

"Get the Matrix to Optimus" I tell him.

"But..." he tries to say.

"Now!" I snap and he runs over to Optimus. Who gets his memories back and starts to fight Megatron as the others wake up. Bee rushes over to me.

'You are hurt' he beeps.

"I'll live" I assure him. He picks me up gently. Our ground bridge opens and Arcee took Jack through. Bee takes me through.

"Over here Bee!" Jack shouts by a bed. Bee gently lays me on it and June begins to examine me. With Ratchet.

"What happened Karina?" Raf asks me worried.

"Fought Megatron and lost" I tell him as the others return safely. "Glad to have you back Optimus" I tell him.

"Rest Karina, you need it" he tells me. I nod and let sleep take me. Glad we have Optimus back.
