Operation Bumblebee Part 1

Karina's POV

So it's been about a week since we got Optimus back. I'm healing quicker then a human. According to Ratchet it's because of the energon and the fact that I'm not fully human. He'd been doing what little research he can on techno organics. Which is what Megatron called me. But the decepticons would have more knowledge then the autobots. What with their head scientist creating and experimenting on techno organics. All the information Ratchet has, was stolen from the decepticons.

Anyway I've been staying at base for observation until I fully recover. Raf told his parents I was on a trip for work experience. Which they brought thanks to Agent Fowler. Against my wishes, Ratchet gave me a small dose of energon everyday. He says I need it.

"Honestly Ratchet, I feel fine" I whine.

"Stop acting like a sparkling" he tells me. Just as he goes to inject me. His computer sends out an alert. He sighs putting down the injection and sees what it is.

"What is it?" Optimus asks him.

"An ancient autobot frequency" Ratchet tells him.

"Lets go investigate, Karina alert the others and send them once they return to base" Optimus tells me. I nod my head and Ratchet opened a bridge. They before went through it. I called up the others. Bumblebee arrived first and I sent him to the site.

He and the other two returned before I had to send Arcee and Buklhead. The others arrived and Bee tells us about how he stole the spark extractor from Megatron. He was very pleased with himself. "Loop de loop, huh?" Arcee asks with a chuckle.

"You have some brass bearings, Bumblebee" Bulkhead tells him. Ratchet finds the source of the autobot signal on the spark extractor.

"What's an autobot locator doing on that?" Arcee asks confused.

"The Class-A Decepticon weapon confiscated during the war were sealed within the vaults below Iacon" Optimus explains.

"Where you once worked as an archivist?" Bulkhead asks.

"Iacon was both a cultural center and a stronghold which Megatron raided when autobot troops were at their Nadir. It stands to reason that in anticipation of Iacon being overrun by enemy forces, these weapon were jettisoned off-world to keep them far from decepticon reach" Optimus explains.

"Clearly, the beacon was added as a safety measure, should it land in undesirable hands" Ratchet adds.

"Thanks to our hot shot stunt driver, this one's going in our vault" Bulkhead states.

"Do you think this is the only intel you supplied to Megatron?" Arcee asks Optimus.

"Arcee, you are right to ask, and I am afraid I do not remember" Optimus tells us.

"Optimus. Megatron clearly took advantage of your amnesia, but for all we know, this spark extractor is the extent of it. Have you stopped to consider that he might have suggested otherwise merely to plague your thoughts?" Ratchet asks him.

"That does sound like something Megatron would do" I state. "But can Bee and I go for a drive?" I ask Ratchet. He goes to protest. "Please, I'm bored" I whine.

"Very well, but no action you are still recovering" he tells me. I fist bump the air. Bee transforms and I get in the drivers seat. He speeds out of the base.

"So how's Raf been?" I ask him.

'Worried about you' he beeps.

"Well I am fine and should be home soon" I state. He opens his glove compartment and I see my homework. "What would I do without him?" I ask as I take out the homework and start to do it. As Bee drives.
