  Who would've thought that someone was actually brave enough, or dumb enough, to actually kidnapped one of the Hero's people...

  Well, unfortunately for Ree, he was that "Hero's people" that got kidnapped.

  Ree calmly assessed his situation while looking at the idiots in front of him. Apparently, his kidnappers thought that it was a good idea not to cover his eyes.

  Although his hands were tied in either side of the wall and his neck was collared, so he guessed that the kidnappers weren't total idiots. Given the fact that they didn't know Ree's capabilities.

  "I didn't expect that someone was actually brave enough to kidnap someone from the hero's group."

  Ree smiled calmly as he looked at his kidnappers as if they were idiots. Surprisingly, the kidnappers were unaffected by his obvious provocation.

  Instead, one of them who was seemingly the leader actually smiled back at him. He sat in a stool directly facing Ree's bounded figure.

  "No. In fact, I think you are the brave one for staying this calm despite you're current position."

  The man in front has a lean but fit body. His brown eyes stared fixedly at Ree with a tiny smirk playing on his lips.

  "Let me share an interesting fact to you little loyal butler. You see... you are already abandoned."

  The man, who leaned closer as of studying Ree's reaction, smiled as if pitying Ree.

  "Come on, think about it. The hero has all those powerful dragons, swordsmasters, and everything, yet somehow, we still caught you! Interesting isn't it?"

  All throughout, Ree was calm. Showing no reaction whatsoever other than his calm smile. At this, the man couldn't help but glare at him sharply.

  "You think they care about you but they don't. You'll see."

  With his final word, the man abruptly stood and walked out. The rest of his subordinates following right after.

  Ree, who was left alone, couldn't help but glance at the tiny window at the top left corner of the right wall. Light slipped through that window, illuminating the room.

  Although he looked calm before, he actually did felt awful after hearing what the kidnappers said.

  'It was true...'

  Yes. Cale was someone who has insanely powerful individuals by his side. So how come this lousy kidnappers still managed to get him?

  Logically, if his young master valued him, then he wouldn't be in his current predicament. But the Cale Henituse that Ree knew wasn't someone like that.
