Part 9

"Namjoonie where are you? We are back," asked Hoseok chirpily. All six members had to go to their secret base as there had occurred a problem. There was a spy spotted in their base. They had to investigate it.
Hoseok was eagerly searching for the little boy as soon as he entered. Some plopped themselves on the sofa others went to drink and refresh themselves. Hoseok without knocking entered Joon's room. There he saw that Joon was eating something from the chest that he had since he was in jail. Hobi was confused as to what it had that he needed to keep a secret.
"What are you doing? Asked Hoseok in a serious tone.
Due to the scary voice, Namjoon choked on what he was eating and started to cough badly. Hoseok without wasting any second poured the water from the jar into the glass and gave it to Joon. After a few minutes, Joon stopped coughing and took deep breaths.
" Nothing hyung, I was just hungry and I don't know where are the ingredients to make as I have not entered the kitchen so I ate... ate some candies that I had bought" Said Namjoon fidgeting.
"Ohh... Okay, hyungs are here let's go down " Said Hoseok frowning as to what Joonie was hiding.
Then they both went downstairs and Seokjin started to make lunch. Hoseok and Namjoon also joined the others.
"Ummm.... Would you mind teaching me where all the stuff is in the kitchen? I... I am always alone in this house... So if I am hungry then I can help myself. Also if you give permission I can keep food ready for all of you " Said Namjoon still looking down.
"Of course Joonie, and you don't have to ask to do anything here. But.. Do you know how to cook? Asked Seokjin.
" Yes I, know. If you allow I can cook something for all of you, but it is my first time it might get troublesome for me to find the stuff here. So help me just once then I will learn where everything is placed" said Namjoon now directly looking into Jin's eyes.
The dragon orbs, silky hair covering his forehead, and cute little smile and dimples made Seokjin stare at him without paying attention to whatever words were said.
"Hyung, hyung " Namjoon shook Seokjin who was in his world.
"Ahh.. Yeah yes you can "said Seokjin rubbing his neck feeling embarrassed.
They spent two hours teaching each other a few stuff. Some techniques in cooking that Jin did not know were taught by Joon whereas where the stuff was kept was shown by Jin and also they both together made some delicacies.
" Wow, so good aroma, just smelling it makes me hungry. Let's dig in" Chirped Jungkook.
"THANK YOU FOR THE FOOD," All the five boys said in unison.
Then all of them cleaned the table and decided to relax by watching a movie. But their relaxing time was interrupted by a call on Seokjin's phone.
"Okay, we will be there in ten minutes. Prepare the meeting" Ordered Seokjin coldly on the phone.
"What happened, hyung? Asked Yoongi.
" Hmm... there was an attack again in our company as soon as we returned home. We have to go, now! Said Seokjin ready to dress up. All others groaned in disappointment but went along to change on one glare of Seokjin.
"But if there was an attack it might be a distraction for us," said Jimin.
" What distraction? Asked Yoongi.
"What if it is a false message and when we go there someone attacks our house? Joonie will be alone. Who knows what they will do to our poor Joonie? He does not even know how to defend himself. " Said Jimin while hugging Namjoon from the side.
"Umm... hyung.... I-i.. "
"Stop saying Joonie that you can protect yourself and you are okay to stay here. You are like a baby who can't even kill a fly" Said Taehyung.
"No... I meant to say... "
" Don't say anything. You are not staying alone. We are going together to the company"interrupted Jungkook.
"But.. I let me tell... "
"Okay, you may have the right assumption. Joon go get ready and make sure to wear a hat and mask. " Said Yoongi.
"Yes, now we are late go dress up quickly. No more delay. And Joonie please go and wear a black dress please, go hurry up " Said Seokjin first harshly ordering the five and then lovingly telling Joonie to get ready.
"Okay... " Sighed Namjoon.
All of them got ready and then went off. They were playful and cute inside their car. But what surprised Namjoon is when they all got out of the car in front of the company their demeanor changed drastically. Also, Namjoon was amazed by their dressing style. Seokjin had a long black overcoat. Yoongi had a leather coat. Hoseok had a black blazer on with a gun holster gun peeping from it. Jimin had a turtle neck shirt with a thigh holster containing a gun. Taehyung had a black suit on while Jungkook had a biker jacket and sleeveless black T-shirt inside and lastly Namjoon came out dressed with a black jeans jacket with a black t-shirt inside. All seven of them entered and the meeting was ready to start. All other gang members were already present. The Slyers gang leader called Madam Hana was giving a sly smile towards Namjoon. Except for Namjoon all noticed her and controlled their anger by fisting their palms tightly.
"This meeting is held urgently because the Bangtan gang's base was attacked. One officer working at that time was seriously injured. We need all your help to find that mole." Said a representative who was responsible for maintaining peace during the meeting whenever held. His name was Choi Jane-hyuk.
" Attacked our computer room, injured our man, and still attending this meeting, how much audacity do you have, let me see. Said Seokjin calmly while playing with twirling his personal and famous dagger with a dragon made on its handle.
" Why don't you stand up for yourself, because if we dig you out of the hole, you will regret it. "Said Yoongi with his cold stare roaming on each and every person making shivers run down their spines.
" I don't think that rat will have the courage, let us play with him when you catch him, "said Jimin with a smirk.
" Don't test my patience hyung, my hands are already itching to beat someone "said Taehyung.
" Beat the crap, I want some fun, "said Jungkook, and was ready to lunge himself on a man who was shaking like a leaf. But before Jungkook could do something the man was on his knees hands joined pleading for sorry.
"I am sorry, please forgive me. I was ordered by my boss to collect information about your pasts." Said the man crying silently.
"And you followed it. So if I tell you to slit your throat right here in front of me then will you? Asked Hoseok while throwing a knife in front of the man.
The man took the knife and put it on his neck ready to slice his throat. All present were shocked by his behavior.
" I will. I will slit my throat if the Bangtan Gang gives me the promise to save my sister. I know I have done a mistake - Theft. I will redeem, but only if you give me the promise. My leader forced me by using my only weak point, my sister. She is my only family. So if you save her, I will die without regret "said the man.
This information might be normal for the other people in the meeting room. But for the six members, it was like an alarm. An alarm that reminded them of their past, mainly Hoseok. His old memories became fresh upon hearing this. All other members were also worried it might trigger Hoseok. Yoongi immediately held Hoseok's hand tightly.
"Guards take him and keep him in the isolation room. And make a call to his gang- The bulls. We need a detailed discussion of it privately. " Said Seokjin.
The man was taken away and Choi Jane-hyuk was about to call this meeting off when suddenly Madam Hana interrupted by raising a hand.
"Yes, Madam Hana any objection regarding the man who is caught? Asked Choi Jane-hyuk.
" Yes. I have an objection but not regarding that man, but regarding him" said Hana pointing towards Namjoon.
"He is in my team. So my new member was added to my team. Any problem with my decision" Asked Seokjin. Bangtan Gang became the ruler of the mafia world when they defeated The Sirius the former ruler and Seokjin was the leader of such a team. But he considered his other members in the same position, but his brothers forced him to be the Mafia King. So rebelling against him meant rebelling against the whole Mafia world.
"How can I? But making any newbie attending our private, is it right? Asked Hana.
" If I permit someone to join my team, then I fully trust that person. He is the same authority as all six of us. Bully him, mock him we will make you pay the price" Said Seokjin.
"What if he has other motives to enter your team? And is he eligible to be on your team? To me, looks like a lanky boy in his twenties who can't even fight for himself" Mocked Madam Hana.
" You don't have the right to say anything about him, Madam Hana. We have a good relationship with our gangs. Don't try to ruin it" said Yoongi.
"I am not against you all nor in your judgment. Seokjin I am older than you. I am just suggesting you. He is new to your team still have him attend your team. What if there is an attack here? Will he help you or will you all be busy saving him? " Said, Hana.
"Madam Hana you are unnecessarily targeting the new boy here. He is new, so might not be as skilled as the Bangtan members. " Said Choi Jane-hyuk.
"Many try and risk their lives to be a part of the Bangtan gang. They give many exams and till now no one passed the exams who were proposed by the six members themselves. How come he is already in the group without giving any exams? What a scalawag! " Scorned Hana.
By listening to this Seokjin's temper rose and he fisted his hands ready to shout at Hana, but Namjoon patted his shoulders and gave a smile. Even if Namjoon had a mask on his face, his smile was not visible but the way his eyes formed a crescent shape immediately called Jin down.
" My name is Namjoon. Don't have a surname because I am an orphan. And I will prove my worth to the mafia world to be in the Bangtan Gang. And I am ready to accept the Six famous challenges. "Said Namjoon in his deep voice full of confidence, silencing the murmuring caused by Madam Hana.
The six boys were shocked by his statement. They wanted to refuse it, but what to say? Once declared anything by anyone in the mafia world it is obliged.
" How impudence of you to accept the challenges. But you are very dear to your gang, even if you fail they won't let anything happen to you "said Madam Hana.
" He said he will go through challenges. So now what more do you accept? "Shouted Yoongi.
" Just telling if he fails, will you impose him with Cessation punishment? "Asked Hana.
" Yes, I will take the Death punishment. It is given to everyone who takes this challenge. I will take it if I fail. "Declared Namjoon.
" Very well then. Why not take the first challenge now? "Asked Hana.
The six members were outrageous due to Madam Hana's behavior. But according to the rules they set, every person who wants to be in their gang had to go through six challenges that they set. The challenges were common for all. But up till now, eleven people room the risk and only met their end. This was like a suicide game. The six members themselves passed the five challenges, except theirs. So no one questions their capabilities. But the new member was questioned and it had to be answered that lied in passing the challenges. But how can a person who sprained his ankle while shooting a gun can pass the challenge?
