'I swear if you don't tell me right now-' Axel said to Remus as she pestered him.
'Severus, I'll take the next shift.' Remus said stepping into the nigh air.
Severus stood and gave him a nod before ducking into the tent.
'Remus John Lupin, answer me.' Axel said moving infront of Remus to he couldn't move any firther.
He grinned once again before he spoke.
'Go and tell Sirius how you feel. I don't he'll mind and quite honestly, I know he feels the same.'
Axel was speechless for a moment before she shook her head.
'He can't, he just met me. I've had a crush on him since I read about him.' She said backing away.
'Axel, Sirius loves you. He told me himself that he hasn't felt the same way around any other girl, he's gone soft.' Remus said still grinning slightly.
She was about to speak when a twig snapped nearby and voices came from their left.
'The Dark Lord felt it. He won't tell us what we're looking for but we just need to find the people who are meddling with his plans.' A husky voice said suddenly.
Remus grabbed Axel's hand and pulled her behind him. He raised his wand and waited for the voices to approach. From their left came two men, a tall one with long bleach blonde hair and a hairy one with sharpened teeth. Both of them looked tired and on the verge of passing out.
'Fenrir, we just need to search the area and then we can leave.' The tall blonde said.
Remus clutched his wand so tightly his knuckles were white. He gave Axel a look as if to tell her to get the others. She slowly walked into the tent and wiped open the doors tugging both Sirius and Snape outside without a word.
'Lucius, I swear I heard something from this direction.' The hairy bloke said sniffing in their direction.
They all held their breath and prayed that their protective charms worked. The man approached the barrier and Axel reached down for the closest hand to clutch in fear. She looked up and met Sirius' worried eyes, he clutched her hand tighter and turned to see if the spells worked. Greyback was sent off his trail the minute he reached the barrier. Soon enough, Lucius and Fenrir both left.
'I'll keep watch now, Remus.' Sirius said taking a seat in front of the tents entrance.
Remus nodded and gave Axel a look before leaving. She sighed and sat next to Sirius.
'I'll keep you company even though I won't be much help.' She said smiling slightly.
Sirius merely fiddled with his wand. Axel gave him time to be in his own thoughts before she tried to spark conversation again.
'Did you pack your guitar?'
Sirius nodded.
'Maybe when this is done you can join a band.' Axel said hopeful for a longer response.
'Maybe.'
Axel let out a sigh and layed back looking at the stars.
'I never got to admired the stars when I lived in the city.' She said tracing a constellation with her finger.
Sirius hesitated before layed back beside her.
'That one's my favorite.' He whispered pointing at the strangely shaped one.
'The little dipper?' She asked.
He chuckled slightly before answering.
'Yeah, the name always made me laugh in school.'
Axel realized that she was no longer looking at the stars but admiring Sirius. The moon shadowed his face but made the grayness of his eyes standout. He turned his head so they were both looking at each other.
'I'm not interested in Severus.' She whispered.
'I know, I'm sorry about my freak out.' He genuinely said.
She smiled at him before she got lost in his eyes. Hesitant at first, he placed his hand of her cheek and caressed it with his thumb sweetly. She blushed slightly and moved ever so slightly closer to him. They layed star gazing until the sun came out.
'Alright Lovebirds, time to pick up and move.' Remus said smirking at the two laying on the frosty ground curled into each other.
Axel rolled her eyes but Sirius gave Remus a thumbs up when she wasn't looking. They repacked the tent and aparated to their next stop; the house of Gaunt.
'Ratty old shi-' Sirius began before Axel gave him a stern look.
'It's as ugly as the book describes.' Axel said approaching the door hesitantly.
'Be careful.' Severus said hesitatny.
She creaked the raggedy door open and steped into the decaying house. Slowly, she entered.
'The ring is in here?' Remus asked with raised brows as he took in the mess of the house.
'Yes. Now, please, if any of you find it don't touch it!' She warned all of them.
They began their search until finally, they found something.
'Look at this.' Sirius called them all over.
In the corner of the room was a large bookshelf that held a velvet box. By magic, Remus opened the box and Slytherins ring was inside.
'Sirius, the sword.' Axel said calmly.
He opened his bag and pulled out the sword of Gryffindor. He was about to hand it to her when she stepped back leaving Severus in the line of view.
'Remus and Sirius did the locket so it only seems fair that you get this one.' She said smiling.
Hesitantly at first he took the sword from Sirius' hand. Turning back to the velvet box he slashed the ring vigorously until all that was left was the cracked stone.
'The resurrection stone.' Remus whispered to himself.
Sirius pulled out an old gum wrapper from his back pocket and wrapped the ring in it.
'It might come in handy.' He said smiling shyly when they all gave him quizzical looks.
At the same moment the windows of the house were blown in and they were swarmed by dozens of Death Eaters.
