I'm currently driving the car as Ishu just sat on the passenger seat looking at something on her phone.
We just dropped our parents and others at the airport. And now heading straight to the doctor for her check up.
I'm hella nervous inside. I don't know how we raise a baby. I don't have any idea. But even the thought of being a father makes me feel something in my chest.
This woman sitting beside me is the best thing that happened to me. I don't know but only having this woman in my life is a blessing. And now she's the one who'll be carrying our child. The thought alone was enough to make a grin appear on my face.
Before 5 years, I never even thought that we'll be married but here we are.
"Ansh, I'm hungry." She whined making a pout. And again, for the nth time I fell for her antics.
"Just some more time baby. We'll eat after the appointment qith doctor." I told her as if she's a baby.
Which she is.
"Okay." She huffed making me smile.
We reached the hospital and I parked my car in the parking area. Going to her side of door, I opened the door for her.
We then start heading inside the hospital.
Just as we were in a lift, she tugged my shirt and said in a low voice "I'm nervous."
"It's alright, love. No need to be nervous. I'll be there with you." I replied kissing her forhead lightly.
Now how should I tell her that I'm even more nervous. I never thought that I'll be this nervous while going to a doctor.
The door of elevator opened and we exited it. She held my hand when we entered the doctor's room.
"Good afternoon Mr. And Mrs. Singhania." The doctor stood up and gretted us as soon as she saw us.
I shook hands with her and Ishu did the same.
She gestured both of us to sit down and started asking some questions from her.
She took Ishu to another room for her check up.
Sometimes later Ishu came and sat beside me on the couch on which I'm sitting right now.
"Are you okay?" I asked and she nodded.
After sometime, the doctor came inside with a small smile.
"Is everything okay?" I asked standing up.
"Yes, Mr. Singhania. Your wife is pregnant. And there is no problem yet." She told me making me smile.
"But about her symptoms. When she got pregnant before, she didn't have any symptoms like this." I asked.
"It happens. No need to worry. Also I must warn you beforehand that she'll be having problems in her first trimester with all mood swings and eating habits. I'll also suggest you some medicines. And please be careful with her. Avoid her from lifting weights and let her take a lot of rest." She said.
