No One's P.O.V (With Ash & May at the fountain)

"If you really wanna know then sure ill tell you" said the raven haired boy and the young hoenn princess immediately looked back at him with excitement.

"Really!? No take backs okay?!" she asked immediately to confirm if he was lying and ash could only let out a chuckle as he nodded his head which made the young girl jump up and scream. "Alright!! Woohoo!!" at this point she thought she was probably acting like a little kid but wasn't minding it one bit since her friend agreed to finally reveal what he knew about the topic that's been bothering her mind ever since she heard of it.

Ash, seeing the young girls childishness couldn't help but chuckle and asked her. "So? What do you wanna know first?"

"Well i wanna know..." immediately hearing those words, she took out a notepad and a pen before looking back at the boy to see him a bit surprised by her action but he quickly shook his head to get out of daze and the young hoenn princess began asking questions.

"So my first question is what is the difference between a Pokemon Contest and a Pokemon Showcase?" asked the curious girl looking ready to write the answers from her friend may give her.

Seeing his friend act like this, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit and answered the question with a calm voice. "A Pokemon Showcase is an exclusive girls-only competition held in the Kalos Region. Trainers participating in these events are called Pokemon Performers."

"So no boys can enter?" May asked in a rather serious tone and Ash simply nodded and continued to explain.

"I see, anything else Ash?" May asked as she is writing down all the information she can manage to write on the notepad.

"Yep, theres more and this is where it gets a bit complicated" he said to may as he continues to explain again. "Pokémon Showcases take place in various locations throughout Kalos. Contestants are allowed to use up to six Pokémon. In essence, they are similar to beauty pageants. There are two classes of Pokémon Showcases, the Rookie Class and the Master Class. Every Performer may compete in the Rookie Class, but only those who have collected at least three Princess Keys can enter the Master Class"

"Rookie Class? Master Class? Princess Keys? What are those Ash?" May asked once again while continuing to wrtie down all of the information ash is giving her.

"Ah, i should explain it one by one huh?" said the boy and he proceeds to continue explaining. "Rookie Class tournaments are divided in two sections. The first is called the Theme Performance and can encompass different activities. The activity of the Theme Performance depends on the specific Showcase tournament. This section usually takes place in multiple rounds, with three contestants per round facing off against each other, though only the winner of each round will move on to the next section. However, as the Theme Performance varies between tournaments, the criteria for winning them also differs. The themes i currently know of are the following:
• Pokémon Styling: Performers must dress up one of their Pokémon in a unique style using the materials given within the time limit and present their partner to the audience. Contestants are judged by the audience.

• Poké Puff Baking: Performers must collaborate with their Pokémon and bake Poké Puffs within the time limit. The Poké Puffs are evaluated by a panel of judges.
