It's a different type of pain /When I see you again /I can touch you again/ We're both catching each other up / what we missed while we were separated / our friends / My Family /Your songs / School /The new piercings you got / everything we've missed in the past 5 months / insignificant words that spill like poetry coming from your lips/ I've always liked the way you talk / Like you don't even think before you speak/ Like divine words flow from your lips no matter the subject of your attention/ finally I tell you how much I missed you/ Then I wake up with my sheets tangled around my legs/And I realize you're still gone /It felt so real / it felt so fucking real/ And now I'm hurting more than I have since that night in October when you told me we were over / I have to resist the urge to unblock you/ To text you again / I'm still dreaming about you like you never left/ I wonder if you dream about me too/what if this feeling doesn't pass/ what if I'm stuck with you in the back of my mind
