I'll never forget you
I can promise that
When I make your life much easier
you make my life a mess
We grew up together
But you still scream like a child
And sleep on a twin size mattress
I'll slip on the stains on your tile
And you'll convince me to stay the night
With sleeping pills and bad sex
Maybe I was the only one who grew up
You just grew old

And It's my fault
I can't blame you
Who's the one who stays?
Even when you'll never stop making me cry so you can wipe away my tears
Even when you love my devotion more than me
Even when you take everything you can
Because you know I'll leave
long before I know
I know I sound pathetic
And maybe that's what I am
Because I'll never forget you
