"Move, move get out of the way."

The emergency room is in a frenzy. It's full of patients, their family members, police & army personnel. People were crying out in pain and doctors were trying their best to attend every single patient as fast their ability allows.

Only one word can define the situation- Chaos.

FEW HOURS EARLIER

"Okay, answer this. A patient comes in with complain of high bp with-"

"Bas karna yaar Meher kitna padhegi?" Karan whined to his best friend.

"What kitna padhegi? The exams are like two weeks away and we have still so much of syllabus to cover." Meher scolded Karan

"Hai toh abhi hai toh time yaar, don't worry we will do well in exams." Karan said nonchalantly while chewing a bubble gum and blowing a bubble with it

"I don't know about you, but I'll definitely try to score well this semseter." Meher said adjusting her specs and sticking her head back in her book

"As you don't always say the same thing before every exams." Karan said while getting off from the elevator followed by Meher

Meher & Karan are best friends from 4th class, lives in the same locality and currently working as the second year medical resident in Delhi's famous IMF hospital. Both want to become successful surgeons in their respective field. While Meher wants to become a well known Neurosurgeon, on the other hand Karan wants to make his name in General Surgery.

"And do you have any idea I have started having dark circles on my handsome face just to give you company in your late night study session." Karan said shaking his head making his way through the hospital's corridor

Meher said matching her speed with Karan "Toh who said to give me company, I didn't. And FYI, you very well know that you won't be able to pass the exmas without my help and then Ratna aunty will have your head."

Karan pouted "You caught me there. Okay fine tonight we will have a late night study sesh and try to complete as much as we can. Cool?"

Meher smiled slightly and shaked her head arrogantly "Cool but it will get better if before our study session you get me canteen's famous Vada pav with garma-garm coffee. What say?"

"As you wish my princess" Karan said rolling his eyes with a toothy grin.

"Chal meet you during the lunch break, had to run for my regular round-ups."

"Sure all aunties n uncles are waiting for his favorite doctor sahab." Meher teased Karan.

"Oh shut up, I know vey well that you are just jealous that they favour me more than any other doctor here." Karan said with a teasing tone and smile

"Whatever makes you sleep at night" Meher said while rounding up from the corridor and making her way to the hospital's seminar hall

Today a well renounced Neurosurgeon, Dr. Aman Bhatt has come to IMF hospital for giving lecture and sharing his success stories. He has been part of many difficult & successful surgeries all over the world

Entering the seminar hall she makes her way towards her other best friend Harpreet or Preet as she prefers more.

"Kidda ji, sab vadia?" Preet asked Meher while she makes herself comfortable in the seat beside her.
