my dreams were weird. Every single one was about defending something or was it, someone, I don't know but they always started the same me running out of a tan-bricked house with my Scar to confront a huge nightwing three times bigger than any dragon I've ever seen with multiple nightwings following him most noticeable a female nightwing flying next to him with sliver tear drop scales and Anemone. A name came to mind that sent shivers down my spine Darkstalker. I would then fire one 40mm grenade at his head there would be a thirty-second silence before he would come out of the smoke unscathed and the dream would end but I wouldn't wake up until now.
Like a bullet, my eyes shot open how long have I been asleep were the others safe are there dead did anyone piss Glory off, and are they dead too many questions but no answers. I was still in the summer palace and I was still a sandwing thank goodness I look down at my leg to see it covered in seaweed I undid it to see if my wound was healed and to my surprise, it was nothing left but a scar. I got off the table to stretch there was some phantom pain but that was it. I looked around to see if I could find Mako or Tsumani but instead, I saw Shark walking up to me "uh oh"
Shark: queen Coral and princess Tsumani have requested your present follow me
Yn: wait what do they want how long have I been out
he didn't answer only walking to the edge of the platform and taking flight "thanks a lot dick head" I thought and quickly followed. we continued flying up until we reached a platform where all the dragonets were sitting at a table covered in food without wasting a second I quickly landed and made my way to the table eating four fish in a matter of seconds realizing too late that queen Coral and Blister were there both staring at me I quickly cleaned my face and cleared my throat
Yn: sorry for my bad manners it's been a while since I last ate
Coral: it's quite alright there is no need to apologize
I walk over and sat between Glory and Clay I looked at glory and started talking to her
Yn: how long have I been asleep
Glory: a few days
Tsunami started talking while Glory told me what had happened while I was asleep it made me sick to know that while I was sleeping they were trapped in a cave and couldn't leave without leaving Clay behind
Blister: such excitement now if we're quite finished with our morning theatrics. Let's chat about our brave clever dragonets of destiny and their friend.
She then looked at Glory
Blister: Glory I'd heard you weren't a skywing but that doesn't bother me. Skywings are overrated if you ask me
Starflight: you heard? How? Nobody knew. not even the other talons
Blister: let's just say I have friends. nightwing friends. so I've heard a lot about you
she then looked at Clay
Blister: and you must be the burly one
She then looked at Sunny while putting a talon under her snout Sunny in return gave her a fierce look
Blister: as for you. so sweet
She then looked at me I hated it felt like a hundred spiders were crawling over my scales
Blister: I haven't heard much about you only that you recently started traveling with dragonets may I ask why
time to make up some random bullshit
Yn: because this war is horrible I figured that maybe I could help you know keep them safe until they choose a queen
Blister: hmm do you have an opinion on who should be queen
