you and rin pull up to the restaurant, it's a beachside restaurant with glass windows overlooking the ocean.

you get out of the car with rin and run to the taller male, he grips your hand with his and locks his car. the others were already there so you walk in and sit with them.

"took you guys long enough" atsumu laughs and you flip him off

"the food looks so good holy shit" you say with sparkles in your eyes as you look at the menu. Your order what looked most appealing to you from the menu.

The large group of you all sit around the table, cracking jokes and playing around.

"yknow, it's almost the end of 2nd year..." Atsumu says to you and Rin, "any plans for after 3rd year?"

"i don't have any, i'm just gonna go with the fucking flow" you laugh and shove your face full of food

you really don't know what your future holds, all you know is that you want Rin to be in it.

"i'm probably just gonna go with the flow" Rin shrugs as he takes the last bite of his food

you all finish eating and pay your own bills then wave eachother goodbye

you get into Rin's car and he follows after

"all the future talk made you nervous" he states, "why?"

"i wanted to say that i want to support whatever you do but i thought that would've been too forward since we haven't been dating that long" you mumble and his eyes widen, next thing you know he pulls your arm and signals for you to sit in his lap by crawling over the console. You do as he asks and he just wraps his arms around

"y/n, i swear i'm going to marry you someday. maybe in 2 years and maybe in 10 but i'm putting a fuckin rock on that finger" he says as you wrap your arms around his shoulders

"promise?" you ask with a smile, he kisses your neck up to your ear and whispers;

"i swear on my volleyball career that you're going to be my wife someday" he says and pulls you tighter into an embrace.

in this moment, you felt so much love and passion.

"you're too perfect" you giggle as you play with his hair softly, he lightly smiles before sighing

"as much as i love the sight of you on top of me, i need to drive us to my house" he says with a groan and you shift back over to your seat with ease

you get back to his house rather quickly due to the lack of traffic and he immediately pulls you into his bathroom connected to his room

"what?" you ask as he takes off his shirt

"baby we need to take a shower, we smell like fish and saltwater" he says and wraps his arms around your hips, placing kisses on your cheek

"together?" you ask with a blush and a sinister smile

"yeah, i mean it's nothing we haven't seen before" he shrugs and gets a towel from his closet

i am slowly getting mentally better!!

i've been with my friends for the past few weeks to try to take my mind off of things but i think i am back now!! i hope you guys don't absolutely hate me for taking an extended break 😭
