Hey everyone! Here is chapter 5 for this week! Enjoy!

JAMES ALVAREZ

I couldn't sleep, twirling in my bed, staring at the ceiling, I was hoping to get a nap before my next course. Juggling between studies and my night job as a pizza delivery man,I was exhausted and I could really use some rest. However, that was not the reason, I couldn't sleep...my mind was busy on...Bree. I couldn't stop thinking about her, she was the light that made me see through the night, I realised that every time I was with her. She was marvellous, breathtaking, perfect...I couldn't even speak in front of her, I just made a fool of myself. Stammering all the time. She was incredible...

-And it won't be long until someone else finds out about that. Warned Theo when I shared my feelings towards Bree to him.

He was right, but I didn't think that I was worth that queen. I felt like my world rotated around her, I knew her schedule by heart, without even trying to remember. I knew her favourite ice cream, song, colour, movie...everything. Her voice was like the beautiful song of chirping birds which always made my heart skip a beat. I was obsessed, I always wanted to see her, talk to her...I couldn't get her out of my head! I was sick! I needed a cure but deep inside I couldn't help telling myself that "I had fallen deep, deep in love with her."

Athena would have killed me right now for quoting the song, "Home" without her. Of course, she knew my feelings towards her roommate, I obviously had to talk to her before everyone else about that. She was my best friend, for god's sake! As I reviewed the conversation we had when I sat at her table at Starbucks.

"-What the hell are you doing here? She asked as she closed her laptop and removed her headphones.

-I need your advice.

-Are you sure about that? She joked.

-It's about Bree...

-Oh...No comments. I'm not allowed.

-Please? You're my best friend. I made cute puppy eyes. I'll buy you a muffin. I added.

-Deal. She laughed.

And she said the puppy's eyes didn't work on her... It was so easy to make Athena spill the beans. I just needed the right bribe. Chocolate muffins or lattes...depending on the days.

-What do you want to know? She asked.

-Everything about her. I said without hesitation.

-It might take a while...and I don't have the time-

-I'll buy you a new book, anything you want. I interrupted her.

-Now we're talking. She smirked. So I was saying..."

She confirmed, to my ultimate joy, that Bree had the same feelings for me. She was strangely and overly excited about that, but her reaction didn't matter much to me because I knew that my princess felt the same for a poor and humble soldier like me.

Gosh! What was I still doing on my bed? I grabbed my bag and ran, ran as if my life was depending on it. Running as fast as lightning, as fast as my legs could carry me. If I was quick enough, I could still make it to Bree's two o'clock chemistry course. I literally pushed everyone out of the way, yelling...it was as if I was in a movie. Exactly the same. Then I caught a glimpse of her, ravishing as ever, entering her class.

-BREE!! I shouted at the top of my voice.

She stopped and saw me. I would always remember that, her eyes glowing and a faint pink blush spreading across her cheeks when I ran to her. She smiled. My whole world lit up instantly again.
