The family arrived back home a week ago and Yukiko went back to work the next day. After a realization of how little she was actually getting paid for doing this type of work, she decided to go the same route Toji did. She started working as an assassination for hire.
Every day she grew more distant from her children, in fear of them noticing her lies, mourning the death of her husband and the kind of work she took up.
She came late at night and left early in the morning. Weeks went by and she looked more tired each day.
Then on one of the days when she came back home, she heard that Satoru came looking for her.
That evening she had a dream.
Dream of her, Toji, Megumi and Tsumiki having dinner together like the old times.
The next day, she woke up crying again.
Instead of fixing the way she looked, she just wore her usual green kimono, washed her face and left immediately to meet Gojo Satoru.

"Wow, you look really shaken up." He started off their conversation as if they didn't last meet each other two years ago.
"What do you need, Gojo." She said, anger laced in her words.
"Never thought that you would be like this to me, Oba-san." He stepped closer to her.
"You owe me after this." He said and grabbed her arm, teleporting to the morgue that was located in the school.
"What are you doing?" She roughly snatched her forearm back, making the Gojo lose his balance for a second.
"He had Heavenly Restriction, if I am wrong?" He asked, searching for a name to show the right container.
"Who do you mean?" She asked, full of suspicion.
"Zennin Toji... sorry my bad... Fushiguro." He answered without any sympathy or care, which angered the woman.
"Why do you need that information?" She refused to answer his question.
"He was able to enter the barrier. He didn't have an ounce of cursed energy in him, but he killed me." Satoru nonchalantly said, which made the woman laugh bitterly.
"Did you finally lose your shit, Satoru? You talk as if you died." She spat out.
"Well, you husband killed me, before I used reverse cursed energy to heal myself." He explained.
"What do you mean?" She grabbed the guy by the collar, bringing him down to her level.
"Chill out... Let me properly explain then what happened, since it seems that no one notified you of anything."
"Stop beating around the bush, Satoru."
"Your husband's target was Riko Amanai. He was hired by the Star Religious Group to assassinate the girl, who was the vessel for Tengen, in order to stop him from merging with her. Apparently, he was paid 30 million yen to kill the girl and bring her body back to the organisation. It was my mission to safely escort her back to the Jujutsu High. And when my friend and I crossed the barrier to the Jujutsu High, I released Limitless and was almost killed by your husband, who somehow had the Inverted Spear of Heaven..." He said and gave her a glare.
"He almost killed and killed Riko. The little teenage girl that had her entire life to live. We were completely destroyed by a man, who couldn't even use jujutsu." Satoru sighed, before continuing.
"After using a reverse cursed technique, I went after Riko, without knowing that she was dead. Afterwards, Zennin... I meant... Fushiguro attacked me. Because of him I was able to awaken the true potential of Limitless and use the Hollow Technique: Purple." He finished, looking at the woman in front of him, whose grip on his collar tightened.
Tears spilled once again, as she fell to the floor and started to punch the floor and cry.
"He died for a stupid mission! I should've stopped him! I shouldn't have let him go on that stupid mission!" Repeated hit the floor, slowly making her hands bleed. "You killed him! You killed my Toji!" She stood up and threw a punch, Satoru easily deflected.
"I didn't want to kill him, he wanted to see my strength himself..."
"Liar! Toji had to come back to me that day! He promised to go on a vacation with us! He promised to come back..." She threw punches without landing any of them. As she threw another one, Satoru caught her hand.
"Oba-san, I am sorry. He really came at me with an intention to kill. It was going to be a kill or to be killed situation."
He looked at her pathetic state.
"Don't touch me." She said and ripped her hand from his grip, looking down at the ground.
I was able to secretly retrieve his body." He muttered, finally gaining her attention.
"Where!" She looked at him desperately.
"Here, but first I need you to promise me something..." He looked at her fully serious.
"Before he died, he asked me to take care of Megumi specifically. I believe he is your son?"
"Yes, what do you need?"
"Fushiguro told me to take him under my wing and protect him from the Zennins. He said that they were pressuring him to sell the boy to them." He told her the information only Toji and she knew, which made her believe in him a bit more.
"You are right, Megumi, but he is safe with me." She said with malice laced in her words. "I don't need help from someone, who killed my husband." She said and wanted to leave, but remembered that Toji's body was still in the morgue.
Sensing her feelings and thoughts, Satoru decided to take a gamble and give her the body before fulfilling his promise to Toji.
Even if he promised, he wouldn't be able to go against his wife, who was adamant on not letting the man take their son.
He looked around for the name Fushiguro Toji and opened the right one, revealing what was left of his body to his aunt.
She let out a loud gasp, the moment she saw his body. Her bloody hands reached for his cold face.
She traced the scar on his lip, looking at his lifeless corpse.
But for some reason, she didn't cry anymore. Whether it was because she already cried everything out, leaving no tears anymore, or because of her happiness that at least his body was retrieved and well preserved.
She remembered back when he was walking and joking around, teasing her with his witty remarks. She remembered it all, but only happy memories flooded her mind. She smiled, as she noticed that he died with a soft smile on his face.
He looked so peaceful.
"You look like you are sleeping... Oh, how I wish that I could just wake you up, darling." She said caressed his cold cheek and gave the man her last kiss on his forehead.
"I will be taking him with me." She stated and looked at the tall man in front of her. "I wish I didn't spare you that time..." She said angrily.
"Take the body and do whatever, I don't care anymore... but my offer still stands." Satoru said and leaned on the wall opposite of them, standing further away from her.
"Okay, I will come to pick him up tomorrow then. I still don't have the place for the burial prepared. I didn't expect his body to return to me." She carefully closed the drawer, putting Toji's body back in the cold space.
"Take care of Megumi, I've heard you had taken up assassination." He softly asked, not wanting her to push him away completely.
"You worry about your problems and I would worry about mine." She said and get his sad gaze.
"Oba-san, no matter how much time has passed, I still hold you the same level of admiration and love. Contact me if you ever need my help. I will come right away." He said, writing down his number on a piece of paper and giving it to her.
"You can call me or you don't it all depends on you, but if you ask me of help, I will help you no matter that." He gave her a deep bow.
With that, she left all on her own.
