Yukiko was in a terrible mood. She told herself that would fully finish the problem with Megumi once and for all.
She got her keys out and finally left the house, but not before taking her katana with her and going to meet Toji to gather her thoughts.
She finally reached the place and sat down in front of his grave.
"I am going to confront your shitty family, husband." She said and laughed at her situation.
"I thought of raiding your weapon storage and giving something from you to Megumi when he grows up." She said, trying to change the subject to lighten her own mood.
"I thought of threatening the Head, but I doubt he'll actually listen to me this time, since now I have weaknesses." She said and shrugged.
"I thought of maybe strikingba deal with him. But I don't want Megumi to have no say in this, so I thought of ways to take his opinion into consideration. Your son really resembles you a lot. He has your core features and my soft looks." She chuckled.
"I keep thinking how much he takes after my personality and your arrogance. The way he apparently talks with other kids really shocked me. He really looks down on them." She kept looking at him.
"You probably are thinking something along the lines of 'Can she shut up about the kids already?'. I remember you always complaining how my mind is only filled with kids, but oh well I regret it now... I should've paid enough attention to you too." She looked down at her hands, fumbling with her fingers.
"Wish me luck, darling. I hope I just won't lose my temper, because the moment I do, they will lose their heads."

"Lead me to Naobito." She said arrogantly.
"You impudent, how dare you refer to him with his name!" One of the guards on the entrance of the village said.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever." She said in a true Toji fashion, walking through them.
They tried attacking her for walking in without permission, but she activated her Limitless technique and their weapons couldn't pass through her protection.
"You're not even worth comparing to Toji-kun." She said and walked further. She looked around the village, which was a bit livelier than the last time she was there.
"Do you see her hair? Could it be that she is the ones from the tales?" The women kept whispering amongst themselves.
"The tale about a flower of the Gojo Clan running off with that Zenin?"
"Apparently, she fell in love with him."
"Weren't they both exiled from their respective families?"
"Disgraceful..."
"I mean... don't you think that it is kind of romantic?"
"Are you insane? Keep it down, what if they hear it?" The woman shushed the other.
Yukiko just scratched the back of her head and took the long way to the Head, so the guards would be fast enough to inform him. She passed through the place that Toji lived previously, but it looked abandoned and worn down. Probably, wasn't touched since they moved out.
She kept walking, taking in the scenery. Compared to the last time, the buildings looked a little refreshed and a little better looking.
She started to think about Megumi. Why did they want him? Was it probably because they need a powerful asset? Maybe there was a chance that they want a Clan Head with the inherited Technique? That was pretty plausible.
Wait... if Megumi is partially Zennin, he is just as much a Gojo.
Does that mean that if Satoru doesn't have direct descendants, he would inherit the position of the Gojo Clan? Wait... since Satoru doesn't have any descendents, that would mean that he would have to choose a heir at least.
"I would have to drill some etiquette in him, I guess." She said outloud to herself.
"He would also have to learn to do the paperwork and manage the finances of the village..." her mind was filled with shit and she didn't even notice how she stood before the Head.
"Oh shit, sorry I zoned out... so old man... I see you are currently one step in your deathbed."
"You impudent! What do you mean, I am healthy as ever!" He said and glared at her.
"I didn't mean that. I meant that you tried to take my Megumi from me and send some low lives to do your dirty work. Are you looking down on me?" Her blue eyes glared at the man, looking down on him openly.
"You see... Naobito. I am an impatient woman. The moment I lose my cool, your entire clan is dead." She started laughing like an insane person.
"I just lost my husband... I don't want to play srupid games with you. So let me make a deal with you..." She piqued his interest.
"I give you full permission to see him and interact with him... However... he will follow his own dreams and he will decide himself if he wants to be a part of Zennin in the future." She smirked at him.
"You can use whatever you want to lure him in except for any sort of blackmail. Money, attention, care... It doesn't matter to me..." She said and waited for the man's opinion.
"Very well... how long should a grace period be?" He asked the woman.
"Until he fully develops his Ten Shadows Technique and then it would be up to him, how much we would want to drag the answer out." She answered.
"That doesn't sound bad. Any other requests?" He was suspicious of the very favourable contract she proposed to him.
"Until he is at least 15, he absolutely cannot find out that his father has died." She said.
"You are free to sully my name and say that Toji ran away from me, but Megumi should never find out, if possible." She suddenly got serious again.
"Okay. Your proposal seems pretty good. As my gratitude, I will transfer Megumi the inheritance Toji left behind."
"That should have been a given, not a token of your gratitude, you old man." She looked him in the eye, full of malice.
"Fine, what do you request from me, my daughter-in-law." He smirked at the woman, amazed at her ability to negotiate.
"I need you to protect Megumi with your life." She brazenly replied, greatly humouring the Head of the Clan.
"We need him too, so don't worry about that." He said and waited for another request from her, but heard nothing, as the woman turned around and went to leave that place.
"How can you let that woman talk to you like this?" Ougi finally spoke out.
"Wait!" The Head stood up, eager to ask the woman something.
She stopped in her tracks and looked back without even turning her whole body.
"What?"
"I want to know... what happened to the Gojo Clan... was it your doing?" He looked for any kind of answer. But only got a small smile as his response, not confirming, nor denying anything.
There was an eerie silence after she left the room.
