Yukiko finished yet another mission for today. She wanted to see Megumi and give him and Tsumiki her last gift before she completely stops meeting them.
She knew that she wasn't worthy of being in their memory, thanks to everything she has done to them, but she hoped that they wouldn't hate their father because of her mistakes.
It's been 9 years since his death and the woman always went to his grave to spend her time with him.
She just arrived at his grave and sat back down as usual.
"I upgraded Tsumiki's room into a luxurious one. I also paid for a couple of years beforehand... no matter who I ask or what I do, she isn't waking up. Money isn't everything after all... now bad I realised it just now, after obsessing over it for years, not noticing how important my family was before...
Megumi is really progressing! He is on the level of a First Grade! He also has such big amount of cursed energy that it somewhat rivals mine! I am so proud of him... I bet he will very soon become the best like you... He also conjured up an incomplete Domain Expansion too! Only at the mere age of 15! Even I was only able to try it at 18. He is so special... I can't stop gushing about his looks too... our little son is a heart-stealer! I mean... thanks to a certain someone passing down his looks! I can't even look at him sometimes... it's too painful.
I see him and instantly feel guilty for all I am doing... but don't fret! I will give him a memento! If he wishes to, he will pass the ring to his future children too." She imagined his future.
"Too bad I won't be able to see it. But oh well... it's all my fault anyways. However, I don't regret not telling them anything one bit. Megumi grew up a happy boy, thanks to that white haired mop. I just hope his shitty personality and lack of manners wouldn't rub off on our little Gumi." She crossed her arms and looked away from the grave.
"Okay, I think this is it for today. I need to go to Tsumiki now." She said and bid her husband goodbye.
It was a great last day of October.
A really magnificent view stopped the girl in her tracks, as she admired the beauty of the scenery. Everything was yellow and red.
The leaved made a crunchy noise as she walked further, her mind preoccupied with different things.
As she reached the best clinic, she got into the elevator, to get to her floor and finally meet Tsumiki after a long time.
She noticed a luxurious door with Fushiguro Tsumiki being written on it.
She opened the door slowly and noticed a peaceful scenery.
"Hello, my dear Tsumiki." She said and sat on the chair next to her.
After looking around the place, she notiticed that the room was pretty lively. She guessed that it was her son, who probably visited her not too long ago.
"I am sorry for not being with you, darling. I have no excuses. Seeing you and Megumi hurts so much. I keep being reminded of your Oto-san..." She said and looked at her relaxed body, lying on the bed.
"I came here for the last time... to give you something precious... make it a heirloom of some sorts or throw it away, it doesn't matter to me. Do whatever you see fit... I trust you will make the right judgement. After all, you were a very sensible and quick-witted kid. Thank you for being with us. Your mother is probably very proud of you... you grew up to be a quite beautiful and clever kid, so please... make up. Megumi still needs you. I don't want him to be all alone. It sounds selfish, but I ask you, please... wake up and take care of him instead of me... and I will finally rest after all these years of constant pain." She took out the velvet box and the piece of paper attached to it.
"I had you in my will too... so you should be getting exactly 50% of all I have, along with Megumi. It's funny if you think about it... remember when we were so poor we couldn't even afford a nice birthday party for you both? I always blamed it all on myself, but oh well... now that I am the most wealthy sorcerer, I kind of regret thinking that. I should've just enjoyed the time spent together with my family... they say that it would be peaceful, if one dies without regrets, but I guess I don't have that luxury... your stupid Okaa-san is a bad person... I am a sinner, Tsumiki... your mother did the wrong thing of entrusting you to me. You would've probably had a better life if I didn't take you in... I am sorry, my Tsumiki." Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to cry in front of her children. She couldn't let them witness her not composed or weak. She wanted her last image of herself be that she always stood strong, in order for them not to completely collapse too.
"I love you, my Tsumiki." She said and left the box on the drawer next to her.
She left the room right away after that, to cry behind her door.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
"Fushiguro-san, we need your help, something ominous is happening in Shibuya..." She heard Nanami's voice echo through.
"I will be there right now." She replied with her usual serious tone and rushed to the set location.
By the time she arrived there, she noticed that there was a swarm of rabbit surrounding a tall building.
"Oh, no. Don't tell me Megumi is in danger..." her voice barely heard. Shivers ran down her spine.
She felt something ominous.A/N: Leave votes and comments ples♡
