"why do i have to teach him? he is a grown man, is he not?" Y/n complained as she walked with her father.

"Y/n, you have the most teaching experience and yes Jakesully is a grown man." Tonowari replied.

"i teach children! ages six through eight!" she exclaimed. "not ages thirty through forty."

"you are doing this and it is final." Tonowari said firmly and walked a little ahead of his daughter.

Y/n crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. she had to wake up extra early just to teach Jake how to ride his Skimwing.

"ah, Jakesully." Y/n heard her father yell.

"Tonowari." Jake yawned. Y/n had walked up to them and Jake looked down at her. "Y/n." he nodded his head to her.

she did the same to him and now the three just stood around each other. "we should start." the girl told them and the two men went to the water.

Y/n jumped into the water and called for her Skimwing, Atmaram. the Skimwing started swimming to her and she patted him on the snout.

Y/n then walked to where Tonowari and Jake were standing. Tonowari called for his Skimwing and it came swimming right to him.
