Riddle
He lept when you first showed him the dog. He'd pulled the rules card, saying that the dog was going to make a mess of the dorms. You noticed the slight quiver to his voice. You handed him the leash gently. The dog sat at his feet, panting happily.
He cocked his head, holding out a hand for the puppo to smell.
"... I guess they aren't so bad... What kind of name did you decide on? I have a handful of suggestions if you're willing to lend an ear."

Trey
He had looked away for a moment, and suddenly there were paw prints in his newest tart. He looked around for the culprit, only to find a tiny kitten hiding in a corner of the kitchen. It had on a collar and a tag with your contact information.
He carried the little friend back to you. It crawled up his arms to lick the cream from his face and began to purr, thoroughly enjoying the taste. He chuckled. The sandpaper texture tickled.
Finally, he rounded the corner, appearing before you with your missing friend.
"Pardon, my love. Do you happen to be missing a cat?"

Cater
You had gotten a puppy and hadn't told him?! He jumped up and down, giving the dog his hand to sniff. It snuffled his hand before flopping over on its side for a belly rub. He began to pet and pet and pet, sitting down on the ground and making himself comfortable.
He activated his signature spell, splitting into 2 and confusing the dog. His clone, heart shape on his cheek, fumbled with his phone, trying to open his camera to get a handful of cute photos of him with this new puppy friend.
"Say cheese!"

Ace
He'd always been told that he was allergic to cats. He was allergic to their dander, he thought. So... when you brought a hairless kitten to the dorms and tried to hide it in his room, he freaked out a little.
But you reassured him, the little baby was hypoallergenic, they won't trigger his allergies. He won't need to worry about it, and besides, it's only for a little while.
"... so you want to harbor a hairless little sack of mouse screams? Sure. Fine. Whatever."

Deuce
You had expected him meeting your new dog to be this whole big thing. But... you couldn't find either of them in the morning. Finally, you checked outside, still anxious. What if something had happened to Deuce? What if your dog ran away?
But... no. There your baby bean boys were, playing fetch with a Spelldrive Frisbee. It was fetch and a little bit of tag. It was really cute to watch. He finally noticed you, pausing to wave and giving the dog the time to tackle him, licking his face.
"H-Hey! Hey- You win!"

Savanaclaw
Leona
His nose stung when he entered your dorm. Another cat had been there. Someone actively had the nerve to try to take you away from him. He laughed to himself. Like hell they ever would.
He approached your door, knocking twice before coming in anyways, pushing the door closed with the toned muscles of his thin tail. You turned around, a kitten in your lap. He froze, his allegations of adultery leaving his mouth as soon as they'd come.
"I... You never told me you were getting a cat."

Ruggie
You had finalized the paperwork to bring your puppy home. You didn't even have to tell Ruggie, he could smell your new friend on you. He was so excited to meet the new little dude/dudette! It was just a new addition to the pack. Survival in numbers!
And so, when you arrived home with the big carrier, Ruggie immediately sat at your feet, his tail eagerly wagging and already short of breath.
You explained you wanted to give your puppy a moment to adjust to the new smells, but his impatient groan won you over.
"Come on, open it up already, I can't handle the suspense!"

Jack
Had... there been another beast in your room? It smelled a little like Leona, but... not enough like Leona to be Leona. You were about as loyal to him as he was to you, you wouldn't cheat on him. Something else had to be going on.
He heard the swoosh behind him, something rustling with your papers and laundry. He approached carefully, trying to force his tail out from between his legs.
A little kitten popped out from your hamper and he, ashamedly, jumped nearly his entire height.
He brought the little thing to you, unsurprised when you said you had adopted the little baby.
"Just... Let me know next time so I don't get all paranoid, alright? Heightened smell is... weird."
