I do not own the rights to any Addams Family
or Wednesday characters.

With Laurel behind bars and Crackstone destroyed, Wednesday and Tyler can finally get back to their somewhat normal lives. Or so they thought.

When a new enemy emerges from the shadows, threatening Nevermore, Wednesday and everyone she holds dear, will she and Tyler be able to stop them? Or will this spell the end of the outcasts for good?

Previously On: Darkness and Love

I watched as we passed the Jericho sign. Tyler put his arm around me and I snuggled into his chest, looking through the features on the phone Enid had given me. Tyler's dad had opted to sleep during the ride which was a good call as it was going to be a long way back to New Jersey.

As soon as we left the city limits I got a text message from an unknown contact. It had sent me pictures of me sitting in a booth at the Weathervane with Tyler and talking to Xavier during class one day. The two pictures were followed by some kind of cartoon image of me being stabbed in the head.

My very first stalker. Maybe this vacation will be more interesting than I imagined. Unlike my novel, not every thread has been tied up, nor every question answered. Secrets are still lurking in the dark corners of Jericho.

Were Laurel Gates and Tyler just pawns in a bigger game? Will today's stalker become tomorrow's nemesis? I know the suspense is killing you.

This Time On: Darkness and Love

Wednesday POV:

As I watched the trees and hills roll by, I realized how tired the last few days had made me, and I slowly drifted off to sleep. Before I knew it, Tyler was gently nudging me awake, letting me know we were here. He stepped out of the car first, offering me his hand. I take it gratefully, both of us looking up to see the looming Addams family mansion. Tyler ran to the back of the car to grab the bags but Lurch was already there, bringing everything inside. I looked over and saw Tyler seemed nervous. I took his hand and laced his fingers with mine. This made him smile. Tyler's dad joined us as we made our way up the steps and to the doorbell. Tyler pressed the doorbell, its resounding "boom, boom, boom" making both Tyler and his dad jump. This made me smile.

I heard the familiar clicking of the multiple locks and finally, the black-colored door opened to reveal my mother and father, their smiles almost cracking their faces. It made me wanna gag.

"Welcome home my little deathtrap!" My father comes forward and gives me his usual kiss on the cheek. He turns to Tyler's father and shakes his hand. "Nice to see you again, Sheriff." Tyler's smiling into the shake.

"It's just Donovan. I'm on vacation. And it's good to see you too again Gomez. Morticia. I appreciate you guys allowing us to stay here" My mother gave him a polite nod.

"Donovan it is then. And it is no problem at all." Finally, my father turned to Tyler. If I'm being honest, I wasn't quite sure what my father would say. This is the first boy I've ever brought home, let alone dated before. I squeezed Tyler's hand to reassure him. My father stared at him for a few seconds until a huge grin appeared on his face.

"Welcome to the family my boy!" He pulled him into a bone-crushing hug.

"Tha-thank you, sir," Tyler said through exasperated breaths. I hadn't realized but I was holding my breath, which I let out with a sigh of relief. My father held his arm around Tyler's shoulder,  guiding him inside, Tyler's dad going next and myself last, my mother waiting for me on the doorframe, undoubtedly curious when Tyler and I started seeing each other, if we'd kissed, all the things a mother wants to know about her daughter's first relationship.
