Chapter 10: Group Project

Please stop eyeing people down, you'll get a chance to make you groups." Mr. Aizawa sighed aloud.

"Okay I want to remind me all the this project how they huge impact on your mark in my class. Around 40-45% total."

Izuku's jaw dropped to the floor. This project had that big of an affect. He needed to make sure the people in his group had commitment.

The greenette was puzzled, he wanted this grade but who was really trying to be in his group.

"Finally you can all pick your groups, I shouldn't see more then 7 people-" He was cut off by the large groups of students rushing off to their friends.

The room got very chaotic people werr shouting, calling dips, jumping around.

Izuku glanced over at Katsuki, the omega was hoping that the Alpha would ask him to be his partner. Since Izuku didn't have the confidence to ask him.

But to his shock Denki asked him first.

"Hey Mido, wanna be in my group for the project." The blond smiled kindly.

"Really, that would be great! Is it only us too right now or did you ask more people yet?"

"Nah it's you, Kirishima, Shoto and me. Hopefully you get along with all them right?"

"Uh, yeah I do, who is our 5th person." The greenette replyed.

Not that I know Kirishma or Shoto personally atleast. I don't think they hate me.

"Kirishoma is going to ask Bakubro right now." Denki pointed at the sharp redhead walking over to the blond.

You could see Katsuki shaking his head. Before walking over to Izuku and Eijiro chasing after.

Katsuki slammed his hands on the desk infront of Izuku and Denki. They both stood frozen and Denki could see the pissed face Katsuki had on.

"Did you fucking force Deku to be in your group?" Denki quickly shook his head and explained that he asked if Izuku could be in their group.

Izuku slowly nodded in agreement which made Katsuki drop his guard.

"Fine then I will be apart of this group." Eijiro clapped his hands together and smiled.

"Perfect now our group is complete, now we can chose what our topic is going to be" The redhead sat next to Denki. And Izuku was in the middle of Denki and Katsuki so the entire group was in a row of desks.

Izuku started thinking and flushed red. He realized he forgot Eijiro was even in this class.

I didn't even know he was in this class? I'M SO HORRIBLE... I thought we only when to the same gym together.

Izuku was disappointed and embarrased at the same time.

"I think our speech should be on the extinct species of dodo birds" Denki suggested.

"What the fuck is a dodo? That shit sounds like some kind of plant?" Katsuki rolled his eyes.

Let's just say that he's not very interested in animals.

"Dodo birds are one of the evolved species of pigeons. They live alone on a island until they were murdered and starved to extinction." Izuku blurted out.

The greenette covered his mouth and turned a light shade a red, he muttered a light apology before asking everyone to continue.

"Wow Deku you clearly want to so the dodo bird. I think we should chose the dodo."

"Aw you want to do the dodo bird for Izuku." Eijiro teased the blond. He blushed before protesting.

"NO! I just want to learn what these shitty birds are."

Everyone but Izuku rolled their eyes. And began the project. Time went by quickly and before they knew it class was over.

Everyone rushed out the doors front and back. Izuku was packing up his supplies while Katuski got hoarded by people.

While the greenette was walking out he saw a familiar face.

"Izuku Midoriya."

The omega shuddered at the seriousness. He faced the brunette and plastered on a fake smile.

"Hey Ochako, haven't seen you these past few days"

"Yeah I feel the same way almost as if I'm being avoided. Would you be you be able to explain that to me?" The brunette stared with a fierce look in her eyes. It freaked the hell out of Izuku since he knew the way she acted when she was mad.

He knew the words that we're about to come out his mouth we're going to be true but untrue.

"To be honest, I've been very busy with class, and I've been trying to be more social like you said, and interact with more people in my class." He continued before she had the chance to interrupt.

"You always told me to be more social so I decided to take that plan and make it have some action!" Ochako looked at him with a moment of sympathy before her eyes returned to a ferocious look. That's when she grabbed her phone in her pocket and began to search for something.

"Izu Honey I hate when you lie to me. I saw something this weekend that shocked me to the bomb and the fact that you're trying to cover up what happened is not going to make it any easier."

The greenette felt like he knew immediately what she was saying. And when he realized that she was looking on her social media.

He knew immediately...

"What the hell is this?" He saw the video of him being grabbed by Momoyama and Katauki punching him in the face. What caught him off guard was the amount of likes on the video.

His face turned red embarrassment, and in a type of fear. He had been caught lying.

Ochako looked at him straight in the face and didn't break eye contact with him. Izuku looked downward hoping the conversation would just end. Or you could bury himself 6 feet under.

"Look, I don't want to stress you out or anything but it seems like you're picking a guy over me. Are you really gonna ditch me like this after we've been together since middle school.?!" Ochako cursed out.
