Sounds Good To Me

People say that when I'm on my phone I'm dead to the world so normally I wouldn't use it when in public but then again, it's my phone I can't resist. I'm also about to beat my high score in my game.

"Leah over here!" Diana shouted  from beside me. As much as I wanted to shoot my head and look, my reasons were there for me not to. So I continued playing. Very quickly she made her way up to us but didn't bother to sit down.

"Diana, I haven't seen you in years." Leah's voice is so attractive, I wanted to hear it all the time but I can't focus on that right now I'm losing.

They continued talking, most of it I wasn't listening too because why is this game so hard. Until Diana pointed to a store and started walking. As she did so Leah turned her attention to me and immediately took the phone out of my hand and into her pocket.

Before I could react she intertwined on hands together giving the back of my hand a small kiss before pulling me into the store. This woman is so perfect. Of course I'd get her back for my high score but for now I wanted to enjoy her company.

We looked around for awhile until I found a beige set that Diana loved so she went to try it on.

"I'm so excited, now that I think about it they'd be such a cute couple. Both are so fashionable, they have the same taste too." I said trying to get Leah's attention away from some glasses she found interesting.

"I agree but doesn't that mean she'll want to be here more?" She turned around to face me with  pineapple glasses on. She must have sensed my confusion from behind the glasses.

"I mean, Julien lives in London. If they start dating then she'll be here more. And since you don't like being in London. How would that work?" She asked, but she wasn't fooling anyone. I know she wasn't asking because of Diana only.

"Well for your information, I plan to be here more often. It's not that bad."

"Really?" She was genuinely shocked. I haven't told anyone how I felt since I've been here. So most think I'm waiting for New Years to catch a plane and leave. Which was the original plan, but now I'm not so sure.

"Yes, I feel like I misjudged the situation. I mean being here with the people I love isn't so bad." She stopped, staring me dead in the eye. Her blue eyes were like an ocean that I could drown in if I let myself go for too long. I loved that feeling honestly.

"I'm glad you feel that, maybe even an apartment soon?" She asked and it wasn't a bad idea.

"Maybe, why you have know somewhere?"

"Actually my house has been feeling a little bigger than usual." She said with a smile while putting her arm over my shoulder as if telling me to walk and talk.

"Is that so? Well if there aren't any more available spots in London then call you up."

She gave me a side eye which made me laugh, at that moment Diana came out looking all pretty.

"I have to say, you look really nice." Leah said with a wink

"Oh stop it, your future girlfriend might get jealous." Diana replied with another wink

"OK! Diana would you like to go and get jewelry to match your outfit." I had to divert the conversation as once again I started to look like a tomato.

Diana chuckled and walked off leaving us alone again.

"She looks so nice. My first date was milking cows on a farm." I could still smell the scent from that dreadful day.

"Sounds awfully you." She joked but before I could answer she continued.

"If you were, let's say you get asked out on a date. What would you wear?"

I thought about the question, for a while going over all the different styles I like and colors I hate.

"I don't know, it depends on where."

She nodded as if she was contemplating whether or not to say what's on her mind

"What if it was at my apartment tomorrow?" Again, she was staring at me. I can't think straight when she looks at me like that. Nevertheless, I gather my words and reply.

"Definitely comfortable, maybe something matching." I shrugged.

"Why? Are you asking me out, Miss Williamson?" The question caught her off guard, it was obvious that's what she was doing so she didn't expect me to ask.

"Yes, will you go on a date with me tomorrow night?"

"Well being famous and all, I'm pretty busy. Rain check?" Once again that sweet yet ironic innocent smile appeared on my face.

"That's too bad, I really wanted you to meet Angel see . That's my new puppy." As she walked away towards Diana at the jewelry stand with a sly smile on her face.

"Maybe I could make it to see Angel of course."

"Of course, I know you're a busy woman. So I'll pick you up at 6?"

"Sounds good to me."

Diana found everything she needed and then Leah left. Diana and I went back to her apartment before I went back to my mom's. I didn't tell Diana about the date, I planned to tell her and Georgia after it happened. That way it is much less nerve wrecking.
