8- The Beast Next Door Pt. 2

TW: Blood

"HUNTER!!!"

I got onto my staff and rushed into the forest after the beast that had Y/n. It's fast but I'm faster. I flew to the beast and got a good look at it, I didn't recognize it at all. It reminded me of abomination goop but it was black so it couldn't be an abomination. I looked like a goopy fire the way the top of it floated into oblivion. 

It was holding Y/n and covering her mouth while just staring at me. I lunged at the beast using my staff to throw fire at it. I teleported behind but it grew another arm and reached out me and slammed me down to the ground. I heard Y/n whimper. I stood up and lunged at again. 'Titan my arm is broken but I can still keep going' I thought as my arm throbbed in pain.

I tried chopping its head off by teleporting above it but it's head immediately regrew. "What is this thing?!" I whispered. I decided the best course of action was to go straight for Y/n and try to get away. 

I flew high up into the air the dove straight down for the beast's hand, it moved out the way to shield Y/n from me 'Is it protecting her from me?' I thought as I lunged for its hand again, then it used its other hand to slam me into the ground again.

"AGGH" I yelled out. I couldn't move. It felt like everything was broken and my vision was blurring. I looked up and saw the beast running off with Y/n in its grasp, she was crying staring back at me. 

|Y/n's POV|

I tried to scream for Hunter but my mouth was covered. The beast carried me off deep into the forest until we came up to a cave it put me down gently but I was stuck to the ground from the goop it held me in. It walked off to the side and screeched, it felt like my ears where going to bleed from how loud it was. 

The creature started morphing into different shapes and it was in pain. It continued screeching until it retained some shape it looked almost Witch? It walked over to me and I was shaking from how scared I was. It touched my cheek and it felt... Comforting? 

Then it tilted its head back and its eyes turned yellow and everything went dark. 

"Y/n come on you need to eat!" I swatted the spoon out of my Mother's hand "No! I hate peas!" I crossed my arms and my Mother stood up. "Ok I guess you don't get any scream berry pie~" She said taunting me. This got my attention "Wait! Scream-berry pie?! I love that!" my Mother turned around and faced me the said with a smirk "Well then you have to eat your peas!" 

"Mother? Ive decided.... I want to join a Coven" My Mother turned from her scroll to look at me "Oh! Is that so. What Coven were you thinking" She started drinking some of her apple blood "The Emperor's Coven" She nearly spat her Apple Blood out when I said that "Oh! Uh.. Avelina!! Can you come down here please!!" My mom walked down the stairs and asked what was wrong. "Little Y/n here wants to join The Emperor's Coven" My mom's face lit up "Isn't that great! you could be so amazing and lead armies!... Francine why do you look so worried?"
