Alice's pov
I look at reflection through the mirror of my bathroom dorm.I have marks on my neck from Mattheo choking me, my hair is really messed up and my eyes are red from crying.
He's a bloody psycho. I didn't mind what they did in the past that much; all the choking and hair pulling and slapping but this has gone too far. Letting me almost fall to my death? I'm not going to let this happen again.
I put my hair in a high ponytail so it won't get in my way, I'm supposed to meet Sirius in the forest soon.
I make sure my wand is still in the jacket I collected from the floor as I walked out on Mattheo a few moments before.I wipe the mascara that's on my cheeks and splash water on my face.
I walk out of my dorm, unbothered to cure the bruises on my neck before I do.
Hermione and Ginny are asleep so I make sure not to wake them up as I walk out.I go to Harry's dorm, I need his cloak. I'm sure he wouldn't mind, I'll return tomorrow evening.
I quietly open the door to his dorm, not wanting to wake the boys up. But I open the door to see the light on and Ron, Harry, Seamus, Neville and Dean playing with some candy.
"Good, you're awake. I need your cloak. I'll give it back to you tomorrow."
I rush over to take Harry's cloak and get out as fast as I can but Ron just has to speak up "bloody hell. What happened to you?" I put my hand to my neck, moving my fingers above the bruises. Shit, they weren't supposed to know something happened.
"None of your business." Fuck. I need to bring my attitude down.
"Did someone do that to you?" No shit Neville of course someone did that. They all look worried.
I roll my eyes "no, I did this to myself," I say sarcastically, "what do you think!?" I sigh.
"Who did this?" Harry asks. Merlin, I don't need Potter going all protective.
"That's none of your business, Potter." My voice comes out way more aggressive then it should.
"It is my business. I'm not going to let anyone hurt my friends." I sigh. I don't another Theo. He's great and all of course and i love him, but his over protectiveness is killing me sometimes.
"It's fine, I was handling it well enough myself."
Harry gets up from bed "so well that you come to my dorm with bruises on your neck in the middle of the night. What do you need it for anyway?" He asks.
"Listen, Harry, I'll tell you soon enough, just not right now."
He sighs "fine, you can have it." I smile at him and head out.
I get to the forest and there he is, a large black dog standing right where the forest starts.
I take off the invisibility cloak. "Sirius!" I whisper shout in excitement. He transforms into his human form and I run to hug him, our first hug ever. We never hugged before, we couldn't. But it feels right. Like we did it a million times before."You look more like your mother everyday." He looks at my face, putting a hair I let out of the ponytail behind my ear.
I smile at him. "So, what's the plan?" I ask.
"We're going to get Pettigrew and Remus, proof to him that I'm not guilty and get his help." Great plan Sirius but how do we do that exactly?
I pull the invisibility cloak above us. "Is that James' cloak?" Sirius questions.
"I guess it is, I burrowed it from Harry." We start walking towards the castle.
"I haven't seen them since... that day." He says. An uneasy feeling flows within him, I can see it in his eyes.
