Once they arrived at the docks they were ushered onto a ship discreetly. The soldiers only took one glance at the children then continued to ignore their existence. Luther only watched on with cold eyes.

It was better like this.

Luther tugged his hood down to cover his hair and face and led the children to a discreet corner, away from the soldiers disguised as boatmen.

"Now, listen to me closely." His grave tone immediately had their attention.

"When we arrive, we'll most likely be separated." He glanced up at the soldiers setting the sail. "If you wish to continue following me then your lives will become more painful than you have imagined. The Avrailium military regiment I belong to is vicious and dangerous. Once you enter there's no going back. Do you understand?"

They nodded, and voiced their confirmations. Luther stared at them intently. It looks like their minds haven't changed from back at the lodge.

"You will need to become stronger. You will need to have the willpower and conviction to be stronger."

"Your underestimating us, Mister Luther." The girl glared at him.

Luther sighed, "Once we're separated, you two will be put under training groups with other children, most of which will be older then you. Do not," he he looked at both of them with seriousness, "I repeat, do not attempt to seek me or your sibling out for the period you're separated from each other. If you both survive and become strong enough to be recognized and be able to stay in a position of recognition, only then will it be the time I will visit you two. After I visit you, you'll know that it's time for the both of you to be reunited."

They looked struck at the bomb dropped on them. But Luther could see in the both of them a spark of fire. He didn't know if they would be able to overcome these hurdles but if they truly wanted to follow him, then it's their choice to continue on this path.
