That did not go how he expected!

He had lots of regrets. There are so many ways that scene could've gone better... it was the perfect opportunity to get the protagonists...but alas, this is reality. There are always unpredictable variables that come up.

At the very least?

They got solid footage of the male lead turning into a psychopath, attempting murder.

The best thing out of it?...

No one died.

Nor had anyone been injured.

Grayson also had Parasite discretely give the detective the recording of the male lead and the ARK in discussion on call, so from now on the male lead will officially be listed as a wanted criminal.

Now, all Grayson has to complete are [Mission #1], [Sub-Mission #1], and [Hidden Quest unlocked]. All of which are just a hairline away from being completed.

But not just yet.

Currently the school property has been flooded with police men and medical investigating the scene and the exact events that took place. They checked up on everyone that had been present during this incident. Everything was questioned several times, repeatedly. In short, the whole thing was pretty enervating.

Jacqueline Lunn woke up not long after the police came in. She had been arrested and taken back to the police station as she was the one to initiate a lethal and unreasonable attack with the 'could-be' murder weapon as was shown in the footage from the school surveillance cameras outside of Collin Sharz's classroom. In Claire's situation, she acted out of self defence by using pepper spray whenever one of the protagonists advanced towards her with hostility.

Claire and Adrian were given these bright orange shock blankets by the EMTs... because they're given to people who should be in shock...lol...get it?...No?... ok.

Grayson had his hand properly taken care of with first aid given by the EMT's. Then he also had a shock blanket placed on his shoulders...

After a while, they were finally allowed to leave.

Grayson sat in the driver's seat, Adrian in the passengers. They had yet to drive. They just sat in silence, still thinking about whatever the fuck had just happened to them in the past hour.

Grayson didn't know why but he couldn't help but snort, which turned into a soft laugh with his low voice before finding it somewhat inappropriate and stopping himself. He cleared his throat as if trying to closing it off. But he couldn't fully stop the muscles on his face to expose the pressed smile forming. Just looking back at the situation made him laugh more. This clearly isn't the correct reaction one should have. Instead of feeling the anxiety, fear and agitation for what's to come in the future Grayson only felt lighthearted, the total opposite.
