Morning arose and the warm sun heated Riff's cheek. The blinds were open. Which means Y/n was awake. Riff shifted his ears towards the kitchen to hear the radio and a sweet voice singing along. He smiled and stretched his arms. But there were two other voices that caught his attention. Boys and a girl's voice. There was some giggling but then words caught his attention too. "Bye, Y/n, I'll see you later tonight," then a door was shut. Velma must have left with Mouth. Riff had told the boys to stay out of trouble and hang with their girls. And Riff made it a goal, to himself that he will also follow that rule. He slowly makes his way to the kitchen. Y/n tuned quickly when the floorboard he stood upon squeaked. The memories of last night sent a shiver down her spine. A timid smile formed on her lips, as he took a seat at the island. Riff often slept over and every time he does he says it's the best he has ever slept in a long time. But after yesterday's drama, it felt even better. Or did it? Maybe sleep didn't change anything. "Are you angry with me?" She asked turning away from him. She cracks an egg into a small pan. Riff's face scrunched his face in confusion. "Why should I be?" He asked back. "I was really aggressive last night. It came out of nowhere. Like I didn't even know I could be that harsh," she said, and he watched her wipe her face. Tears.

Riff stood up and made his way to the fragile girl. She looked up at him with a tearful gaze. He picked her up and placed her on the counter. "I could never be angry at you. And if I ever am, I give you full permission to slap my face." She giggled as he latched onto her neck. "Why don't you go get ready, you have a pickup at Doc's today." She groaned. "What's wrong?" Riff asked her as she hopped down from the counter to throw the very burnt egg away. "Tony," she muttered. He nods. Tony will not debatably be working today."Well, who said we have to talk to him? He's none of our concern anymore. Did I tell you that he walked out on me last night," Riff confessed to her. She turned around to face me fast than she did last night. "Why?" She asked making her way to her room. He watched as she discarded her nightgown and robe. "Oh you know the classic 'nobody gets me and what I want so I'm gonna leave' Tony exit," Riff chuckled. Y/n laughed as she stood in front of her closet.

"He does tend to do that a lot," she uttered, slipping on a green button-up and black high-waisted shorts. They hugged her hips, catching Riff's attention. She threw on a leather jacket as Riff raided her closet next. "Anyway, I have to meet some of the fellas around 5 but until then," he stared and turned around "I'm all yours," Y/n smirked at him and sat down at her vanity. Y/n took out a tube of lipstick. She applied, Riff couldn't help but stare. He loved her, and the simple way she did these things, it kills him. He found some jeans and an old shirt he had left here before. He lowered his arms to put his pants on when he felt eyes on him. Y/n was looking at him through the mirror. "You know, baby, we have time," he called to her sitting on the bed. She shook her head and made her easy to the bathroom. He watched her retreat and chuckled to herself. Suddenly, the phone rang. "Riff, dear, can you grab it?" She asked through the closed door of the bathroom. "Yeh, sure Doll," he started and picked the phone up "Y/n Wyzek's resistance." "Ah, this is Dr. Gorman, I overlook the girl's health, who may I be speaking to?" Oh good, Riff has some questions he needs to ask. "This is Riff Lorton, the young man who brought her to you. What news you bring?" He asked "Ah, well I just wanted you to know that there is a new bottle of pills ready for her at Docs. Whenever you can get them."

"Thank you, Doctor, I actually have a few questions about these medications that I would like to ask you. Do these increase her moments or stop them?" Riff asks. "Well, this medication wouldn't be able to get rid of them completely, they would help her body relax, causing them to happen less frequently. The only reason they were happening more often is if Miss Wyzek had a frightening moment or she had stopped taking them." Riff nods and remembers her emotions last night. "Ok, good to know. Also, do these medications cause mood changes?" He asked hoping for a good answer. The Doctor cleared his throat on the other line. "The only time she should be experiencing that is when she is starting to lean off of the medicine. But she should stop until I say so. But yes, when she does start to lean off of it, her body will want that relaxed feeling again, so it will cause withdrawal, making her moods change, she might be more sad or angry-" "Aggressive?" Riff asked quickly like the word was burning his tongue. "Well, yes maybe. But like I said, she shouldn't be off of them yet. Not without my permission." Riff understood now. He needed to get her to Doc's quickly. He hung up the phone and knocked on the bathroom door. Y/n must have been too busy with her pony tale to pay attention, cause when she opened the door, she had a big smile on her face and she skipped over to her purse. "Ready?" She asked. She turned to face Riff again and raised her eyebrows. He looked down and nodded. After slipping on a shirt, they made their way to the docs.
