Chapter 13.1- Mother Dearest

Y/N and I landed gently on the ground as we returned to Istar, separated once we were assured we were in the right area. "Well, that was some shit, wasn't it?" Y/N chuckles, dusting her outfit off. I crossed my arms, checking her out before she chewed me out, "C'mon now, Mel!" She glared at me as I looked away innocently, "I didn't do it." I laugh before looking at the group and walking to them, Y/N trailing behind me, "Yo!" The group looks at me bewildered, shocked to see me in one piece. "Sir Meliodas!" Hendrickson greets me. "I'm so glad you both are alright!" Gilthunder smiles. "Hi, Gilly" Y/N says, standing near Jenna now. I walked up to the druid chiefs, Zaneri joining the group, and smiled "Didn't I tell you guys? We only went over there to say hi." Y/N raised a brow as she looked towards me, "I only went over there to say hi." she corrected me as I glared at her, "hush." I tell her and she snickers. "B...But I want to know exactly what kind of greeting you gave them" Jenna demanded me.

"Yeah Meliodas, tell her." Y/N mumbles under her breath before laughing, "You're going to get it later I tell her." "But oh, that's simple. I just warned them that if they did something stupid, then we'd go there and beat them up!" I explained delighted. "I had a conversation with my cousin and only attacked because I was first." Y/N explained, "The rest was all him, Jenna." Y/N throws a thumbs up, smug-faced. Everyone's eyes widen at our words, mainly mine, maybe. "You're the one being stupid. 'Cause what you did was go out there and pick a fight!'' King yelled at me. I scratched the back of my head, sighing, "Hmm...well, I guess that's true. But, I gave a warning. Y/N was the one who told Zeldris it was a threat." I spoke, getting my revenge on her. "N/N, YOU WHAT?!" Jenna yelled at the demoness, who looked at me, "Ogbontarigi ni iwo. fokii o." she tells me making me snort. (You're a bastard. Fuck you.)

"Oh, come on Jenna. That was only after the fact that Meliodas put his hands on Galand and roughed him up a bit." Y/N continued, as we continued to throw each other into trouble. "After you sliced your cousin, Monspeet. The one that was chasing us before we arrived with the HellBird." I smirked, "Touche..." She nods. "Wait, wait! Both of you are being ridiculous! Meliodas, what did you do to Y/N!? She wouldn't have done this on her own!" Jenna scolds me. "Why am I at fault for her actions?" I ask. King groans, "You brought her there in the first place, you're the captain!" he scolds me, as well. "Only a moron would intentionally go out of his way to wake up a sleeping giant like that!!" Jenna continues. "See what you instigated," Y/N whispers, scratching the back of her head. I narrow my eyes, "Come on, do you have to yell?"

King and Jenna spoke simultaneously as I stuffed my hands in my pockets. "Ugh...How could you?" King finishes up. "Y/N, comfort me." I pout, burying my face between her breasts. I can hear her sigh, patting my head before pulling me up, "Let's get serious, 'kay?~ Jowo?" (Please) She begs, softening her eyes. I could feel myself blush as I shook away the thought of what I'd do to her and turned back to the group, ignoring their judgemental and weird stares. "The Kingdom of Britannia is full of different nations and villages. They'll be able to raid them all by splitting up. Soon, they're gonna realize that. With the Ten Commandments in one place, we don't stand a chance against them, including me and Y/N. That's why we're going to separate them." I smile, proud my plan already was going into play.

Y/N clears her throat, "Judging by that plan, the ones who I'd say stick with each other are Zeldris of Piety and...Estarossa of Benevolence. Next, it'd be my cousin, Monspeet of Reticence, and his usual partner, Derieri of Purity. Some of you recognize the name Galand. He has the Commandment of Truth and usually is paired with Melascula of Faith. Lastly, based on the information told me, Fraudrin possesses your human friend's body. He might work alone, but be wary of Grayroad. She usually lurks around, her commandment is pacifism. We'll get into the details of the commandments later, but those are the teams. I'm not sure about the last two, but they're most likely a pair as well." Y/N concludes with her explanation.
