I stood behind the bar as Meliodas read off a paper that fell from the sky moments before I came back downstairs. "In the coming days, a Great Fighting Festival will be held in Vaziel. And the declared winner of this event will be given the right to have any wish granted." He said curiously. I raised a brow at the announcement, feeling skeptical. "Mel, if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is." I tell him as I gulp down my third cup of ale.

No one asked me about the situation, because I did not want to speak about it regardless if anyone was curious. At all. Meliodas did mention we would talk later. I crossed my arms as I walked around the bar, sitting on the table near Mel, snatching the paper. "You cannot believe this is true, it's far from a reliable source." I sigh. "Hold on. Isn't Vaziel that town Diane flattened like a pancake?" Hawk questioned. I furrowed my brows, "Diane flattened a town, crazy..." I chuckled, scratching my ear.

Meliodas wrapped an arm around me as he admired my new outfit silently, nodding. "I gotta admit, that prize they're offering is pretty tempting! Maybe I'll expand the tavern." Meliodas peers into the paper he snatched back from me. "Didn't I just say if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. You don't listen." I tell him, standing up. Meliodas rolls his eyes at me, sticking out his tongue. 'Sassy...' I told him in our space.

Howzer stood beside me, glaring at Meliodas, "Oh, come on now! Didn't you just hear Y/N? You have to know that's a scam!" He tells him, to which I agree. "Hmm, so you think the Ten Commandments are behind this?" Hawk questioned Howzer. "No doubt about it. Isn't that right, Y/N?" The dusty-haired male asked me. I nodded, "It's obvious, it's a trap of some sort. But I am in for some adventure nonetheless. At least I'm not going in oblivious to what the situation actually is." I comment, side-eyeing Meliodas. Howzer hums, crossing his eyes before he eyes me, "You get a new outfit change too, Y/N? My, you look pretty goo- OUCH!" Howzer couldn't get his words out before Mel poked him in the eyes, pulling me by the hips to him. "Off limits." He said, his voice dark.

"Are you serious?!"
"I said, off limits!"

I shook my head at their tomfoolery and clapped to get their attention, "Let's stay focused, boys!" I say, pointing to the flyer, "Howzer has a point. Is there anything else as crazy as getting Demons to hand out flyers? Does that sound like something the Ten Commandments wouldn't do? Let's have some sense now." I shake my head. "Meliodas, no matter how you look at it–" Hawk began, getting cut off by Hendrickson, "No matter how you look at it, it's a trap! Just like Y/N said!" Hawk grew angry, yelling at the man, "I was gonna say that!"

The others talked amongst themselves as I peered at Mel, "So, we're going to drop in, aren't we?" I ask him. Meliodas chuckles, "You know me so well, don't you Hot Stuff?" He grins. "Maṣe pe mi pe!" (Don't fucking call me that!") I yell at him, clenching my fists. I roll my eyes as he pats my head, feeling my face grow hot. "All right, guys. I've got an idea! Since Escanor's signal just vanished into thin air, why don't we stop by?"

"Are you serious? Do you have some kind of plan or?' Hendrickson asked. I laugh, "Watch him say no..." I mumble, earning a jab in my side from the yellow-haired bastard. "Bitch!" "Anyways...nope! It just sounds like fun!" Meliodas says, connecting his fist with his palm. "So, I was right, you damn idiot!" I say as Howzer and Hendrickson exhale, Gilthunder saying "Yes!" in the background.

I'm working alongside idiots.

Meliodas decided at the last minute he wanted to clean up the Boar Hat before heading out, so I was in the kitchen, while everyone else had specific stations. Meliodas and Arthur were in the dining area, wiping off tables as Gowther peered out the window.
