Scourge - You Liar

Idea: "You lied, you lied and you lied and you lied and I, being the fucking idiot I am, believed you. Well, guess what? I'm not that kind of person anymore. I will pull this trigger and kill you."

The door opened and Y/n greeted their lover. Scourge smiled at them. "Hey there Toots, how was your day?" He kissed their head and they smiled back. "Good, how was work." Y/n asked as they went to the kitchen. "It was a day." He went to the kitchen, Y/n stood over the stove as they made dinner. Scourge wrapped his arms around their waist from behind. "That bad, huh?" Y/n chuckled, leaning against him.

Scourge hummed in response as he nuzzled into Y/n's shoulder. "Well, it's better than the crime you were doing at least." He stiffened a bit at that, he just hummed again. Y/n glanced at him. "Are you okay?" Scourge lifted his head and kissed their cheek. "Yeah, don't worry Toots." He let them go and headed to the living room. Y/n turned to watch him, they grew a bit worried for him. They decided to push it aside for now and finish dinner.

Later that night, they were both in bed. Y/n was reading a book while Scourge was on his phone. He got a call and sighed. "It's work." He said as he got up. Y/n hummed in response, Scourge left the room to take the call. Y/n looked up from the book and looked at their door. They stared for a second before looking at their book. Soon, Scourge came back in and grabbed his jacket. "I-" he began but Y/n interrupted.

"Have to go into work, yeah I get the drill at this point." They closed their book and looked at him. "Man, what does work need you to do at 10:30 at night?" He shrugged and walked over to Y/n. He kissed their head and gently held their chin. "You know how work is. I'll be back by morning Toots, I promise." Y/n sighed, "Be safe." He gave a small smile and nodded. "I will." He then let them go and headed off.

He was not there by morning. Y/n has begun making breakfast. They expected this, he gave empty promises like this a little too much. Y/n wanted to believe Scourge but the more it happened, the harder it was to believe him. Right as Y/n plated the food, Scourge walked in. "Food's ready." Y/n said as they sat down with their plate, on the couch.

Scourge smiled, "Awesome." He grabbed his plate and sat next to Y/n. "I'll have to head back into work here in a few hours." He told them and they hummed in response. Scourge looked at them, he knew they were suspicious of him. "Are you okay Toots?" Y/n nodded. "Yeah, just tired. Didn't sleep well last night." Scourge decided not to speak on that. The two decided to just watch tv.

Once they were done eating, Y/n stood up. "I'm going to head out. I planned a shopping trip with F/n today." They walked into the kitchen and put their plate in the dishwasher. "Alright, be safe Toots." Y/n gave him a wave before walking out. Not long after Y/n left, Scourge decided to leave as well.

Y/n inspected the gun to make sure it was worth using. F/n loaded their gun when they sat across the table from Y/n. "I'm not sure I should let you handle a gun right now." F/n said, Y/n raised a brow and looked at them. "Yeah? What's that supposed to mean?" F/n rolled their eyes. "Come on, I can tell you're pissed off. And we both know you make bad decisions when you're mad."

The two were at a shooting range. Y/n would have told Scourge the truth but they decided to lie about this. They didn't want to answer questions on it.

"Do you really think I'd shoot someone?" Y/n stood up. "Yes, yes I do." F/n responded immediately. Y/n rolled their eyes and chuckled. "Come on, believe in me." They walked over to their area. "Sure." F/n sighed.

Once the two were done, Y/n put their gun in their concealer on their hip. F/n put theirs away completely. "Shouldn't you put yours away?" F/n asked and Y/n shook their head. "Nah, it's dark out. Gotta be prepared." F/n shrugged. "I'm not paying for your bail." Y/n chuckled and said bye to F/n before they parted ways. As Y/n walked back to their house they heard something happening in an alley way.

Y/n hovered their hand over their gun, ready for whatever was happening in case they got involved. They began to pass the alley but stopped when they saw a green blur. The anger they had before came back. Y/n looked down the alley way and there stood Scourge. He cracked his knuckles as he stood over the body. He hadn't noticed Y/n yet.

Scourge balled a fist when he heard footsteps behind him. Right as he was about to turn to punch he stopped himself, immediately recognizing the voice. "You motherfucker." Scourge turned to Y/n. "You said you stopped doing this. You lied to me." Scourge put his hands in a defensive way. "Look, did you really think I would actually leave this life behind?" Y/n scoffed. "How much have you lied? How many times have you lied to my face huh?"

At this point, Y/n could barely contain their anger. "Too many to count." He said truthfully. Y/n glared at him and punched him to the ground, he fell, not expecting them to hit him. "You lied, you lied and you lied and you lied and I, being the fucking idiot I am, believed you." Y/n stood over him, glaring down at him. He just watched, he couldn't bring himself to hurt Y/n.

"Well, guess what? I'm not that kind of person anymore. I'm sick of being lied to, I'm sick of not being able to trust anyone! If I can't trust my own boyfriend, who the hell can I trust!?" Y/n grabbed their gun and pointed it at him. "I will pull the trigger and kill you." Scourge looked at the gun, he wasn't threatened by it. He knew how Y/n's anger worked. He knew they'd calm down. If he was careful. "Look," he began as he stood up. "I screwed up, alright?"

Scourge looked Y/n in the eyes. All he saw was anger and pain in their eyes. "But I have never once lied about us. I would never. I've made a lot of mistakes in my life but being with you and loving you was never a mistake. Never once have I thought twice on it." He spoke, slowly he reached for Y/n's gun and grabbed it. "Please, let me make it up to you." He took the gun from their hand. Y/n let him, knowing it would be for the best.

Finally, Y/n calmed down and realized everything. They felt a few tears prick their eyes. "Oh my god, I-" They put a hand over their mouth as they looked down. "I hit you- I threatened you- I shouldn't have-" They looked back up at him. "Scourge I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I-" Before they could continue, Scourge dropped the gun and pulled Y/n into a hug. "We both messed up. It'll be alright Toots." Y/n hugged him back as they nuzzled into his chest.

They both made it to their house. Y/n sat on the couch, staring at the ground as Scourge got cleaned up from his last kill. Once he was done, he went into the living room and looked at Y/n. His gaze softened at the sight of them. He walked over to them and knelt down in front of them. He gently grabbed their chin and made them look at him. "Y/n, everything is going to be fine. Alright?"

Y/n looked away from him, making him let go. "No- I shouldn't have done what I did. My anger is no excuse." Scourge sighed, "But you apologized for it, you feel bad. People do dumb things. Hell, I had just killed a man. What you did was nothing." He said. "But-" Y/n went to say something but was stopped by Scourge kissing them. They were caught off guard for a second before kissing back.

Scourge got up and sat next to Y/n and pulled them close. They wrapped their arms around his neck. Soon, they pulled away slowly. "Things will be alright. Trust me Y/n." He spoke softly. Y/n stared for second before nodding and hugging him. He smiled and hugged back.
