Pulling away from my embrace Masons gaze met mine, tears stained his cheeks. "Are you okay" I found myself asking, in reality I didn't care but somewhat felt sympathy for the guy. I had no idea why he was acting like this, crying with the boy he's been bullying for the past year. Sniffling he quickly stood up never taking his eyes off of me. Chuckling he wiped his cheeks "no but it's not for you to worry about" standing myself up I dusted myself off before looking back at him. He looked tired, exhausted as he stood before me.

"I just wanna apologise" rising my eyebrows in confusion I simply tilted my head. "For everything I've done to you, you don't deserve it, my selfish ass thought I was the better person when in reality all I was doing was making your life a living hell and no one deserves that" "Mason" "it's true Luke, I'm sorry okay" before I could respond he had left, the door closing behind him with a small bang. Left standing there I couldn't help but think, think about everything he's done to me. The way he treated me, the foul words he would call and shout at me.

Not once has he ever showed weakness or acted this way towards me. It somewhat scared me, scared me that he's changing for the better good. I just hope that what he said he means it. I hope that he realises that being a better person costs nothing in life. That it wouldn't hurt to not make someone's life a living hell. I couldn't help but smile as I looked around. Sighing I made my way to the door closing it behind me. The bitter breeze form the double doors hit me as I entered the corridor. A familiar figure leaning against the wall.

"Why where you with Mason" he simply asked, his dull pupils meeting mine, his arms crossed, his face filed with an unknown emotion. Rolling my eyes I didn't need to deal with this, with him. Walking past his hand has gripped onto my wrist. Coming to a stop my gaze immediately met his again. "Luke" his voice breaking as he sounded hurt. "Leave me alone Adrian, why do you care, why does it matter so much to you who I'm with, you were the one who ruined what we had, you cheated" I spoke only to hand his grip on my hand tighten. "No I can't do it anymore, I can't do it without you" I could see tears brimming his eyes as he looked into mine.

I couldn't only feel myself break as I looked into his eyes. "Then why cheat" I responded my voice coming off sour and sharp. This only caused his body to tense. His breath stopping as his eyes never left mine. "Luke" "no seriously why, wasn't I good enough, did you get bored of me, did you just wanna use me" I could feel anger rise in my body more as I spoke out all the reasons on why he cheated. I could only watch as he got more agitated.

"I didn't cheat on you" he finally shouted, his voice loud and sharp. Stumbling back a little I looked away before looking back. "So your lying now" I simply responded, a soft chuckle escaping my lips. "Luke" shaking my head tears had began to emerge as I took another step back. Why just why did he do it in the first place. Why not break up with me and then none of this would happen. Yeah I would be heartbroken but it's better than watching the man you love kiss another persons lips, especially with the same lips that were supposed to kiss yours.

Coming out of my thoughts Adrian's thumb has pulled my chin. Me gaze meeting his, his touch steering through my body. "Will you finally let me explain" slowly nodding I gently nuzzled my head into his hand as comfort shot through my body. I knew I shouldn't be doing this right now, trusting him even but he's the one that makes me feel safe, comfortable, makes me feel things I've never felt before. Sighing he began to talk, his voice soft.

"At the party my ex had been trying to find me that whole night, she still wanted to get back with me despite the fact she cheated on me, she found me once so I told her to fuck off, that didn't work as she began to follow me around, that's when you found me, I really wanted you that night Luke, I needed your touch, your lips, I wanted to see your face as I made love to you, but then you rushed into the bathroom, I thought I did something wrong.

I wanted to come in after you but you locked the door, so I waited outside, I was going to wait for as long as it took, I didn't just want your love Luke I was craving it, that's when my ex came into the room, she was out of it, her hair was a mess, her clothes all baggy, before I could talk she slammed her lips onto mine, just as you opened the door that's when I pushed her away the second after she initiated it, you didn't let me explain, you ran off, then once we were outside proceeded to shout at me.

It hurt Luke it really did, your the first person that had ever made me feel these type of things, the way my stomach would turn just by hearing your name, my lips would immediately tug into a smile whenever I saw you, the urge to claim you as mine twenty four fucking seven. It was unbearable, no one has ever been able to make me feel safe, yet one touch or look from you does exactly that, it's driving my crazy Luke, I want no I need you in my life, even if it meant as friends but not as lovers"

By this point we were both crying, I had no words. I had misjudged the situation all because I was angry, I was jealous. Looking back up into his eyes, interlocking our fingers I pulled him into a hug, his arms immediately wrapping around my waist. Nuzzling his head into the crook of my neck he pulled us closer. Taking in his scent, the one that calmed me, relaxed me. I felt at peace at home as I was held in his grasp, the grasp I will always love.

"I'm sorry" was all I could get out of my mouth as I pulled away to look up at him. His gaze meeting mine as a soft smile spread across his lips. Running his thumb over my cheek I leaned into his touch. "May I kiss you" he softly asked, smiling I nodded as a smile appeared over his lips.

Leaning in his lips hovered over mine, his eyes roaming my face before they met mine. "Luke" humming in response a smile formed on his lips as they grazed mine.

"I fucking love you"
