You yanked on Herobrine's shirt and yanked him back in a wild frenzy to evade the attack. Thanks to a minor trip and Hero fighting to sustain his balance, he wound up toppling on top of you onto the floor. Before either of you could get up, the pillars of netherrack crushed you both.
