Chapter 11 "Take me with you"

Y/N POV

It was all a blur......it felt so surreal
A few moments that night was where everybody was partying and having fun but...

Then the next could of minutes everything changed

I knew......we all KNEW...

But yet we still gave out high hopes that we can change the past and at least save Thatch...

Because saving Thatch means preventing Ace from getting revenge on Blackbeard

And even if Blackbeard had the Yami-Yami no mi as long as Thatch is alive it would have been easier to stubbornly tell Ace to wait for the right time to come and get his revenge by being patient

Preventing Ace from going after Blackbeard means preventing Pops from saving him from the Marine ford war Arc and all three of their deaths would be avoided...

But we couldn't do it.....we let BlackBeard out from our sight and now...Xynie is kidnapped as well she must be thinking to herself that it was all her fault for being weak..

We wanted to trust that she can handle it on her own but somehow reality hit us and made us realized that was the biggest mistake we ever made today..

we should have made sure she was ready and backed her up that time when she needed us the most

And now... everybody is grieving for Thatch's death.....and are stressing out on how and where to start searching for Xynie

I couldn't handle the heartache how much more when it comes down to Marco and the others??...

Especially Pops..

Whom have lost his son...because of the betrayal of his other son...and now his soon to be daughter is missing too

We overestimated our strength...it was never enough....

It was like as if we were playing gods by trying to change the events that happened in the past

all we ever wanted was a happy ending for them..

But that couldn't even happen...

"He'll go after him...." Inie mumbled

"What are you going to do now Inie??" I asked genuinely curious on what she will do now

She stood up and grabbed her cardigan putting it on she stopped at the door and turned around to face me with a smile

"Whether he likes it or not I'm going with him"

I grinned and nodded

"Go calm the fire fist Inie....he needs you the most in these times"

She hummed and nodded before closing the door she replied

"Go talk to Marco and Pops they also need it"

Xynie......I know your alive somewhere hang on tight Inie the others and I are gonna find you I promise!

Inie POV

After I had the talk with Y/N I immediately left to go find Ace and that's where I stumbled upon Jozu

I stopped and greeted him nodding he did the same and said

"Ace is at the crow nest he doesn't want to talk to anybody..but..I'm sure he'll talk to you Inie"

He gave me a small soft smile counting on me to talk to his stubborn stone headed little brother

"Thank you Jozu, don't worry I'll handle it from here"
