In a Kree court, Supreme Intelligence as judge and jury, Ronan have Mar-Vell further scorned and disgraced, stating the latter's failure in losing two superweapons that could be advantageous to their empire. The SI rules that Mar-Vell is to be exiled and officially declared KIA. "Should any Kree officers encounter him in the future, he shall be regarded as a Skrull imposter", SI states.

Ronan's smug is cut short when SI calls out his own failure, "Ronan the Accuser, you have severely underestimated our enemy. And for that, the Kree have lost the great Captain Mar-Vell. The penalty is exile and it would be known!". He protests, but Kree guards have him restrained. Disgusted and disappointed by the outcome and his former commander, Korath resigns from the empire to join Ronan. Together they seek a proper Kree justice. Meanwhile, Mar-Vell appears stoic and emotionless through the whole ordeal, before he too is taken away to be exiled.
