Introductuo (PLEASE READ)

Hello my name is Ava. I am some what part of the mafia, my father died when I was young. My mother was raised me well, but she has rules that I have to follow. I have a twin brother and 2 younger sisters. My brother is 18 years old and his name is Pedro, but we call him Chuy. My younger sister is 13 years old and her name is Anna and my youngest sister is 7 years old and her name is Feli.

We go to school as regular kids do, but when we are out of school, we train. Me and my brother recently graduated early from school and now we train everyday for 5 hours straight. It's a rule out mother put upon us. Even though my sisters don't have to train as much as we do since they are younger and don't have to take much responsibility as we do.

Another rule our mother put upon me and my brother, we have to move out by the time we are 20. We also need to be married by the age of 25. It's not really a rule from my mother, it's something our family has done for many generations, therefore we need to follow. If we don't follow the rules, then you are considered as a failure to the family and you are disowned.

Yeah crazy.

I personally don't mind moving out by the age of 20, this house is sometimes loud and I can't have my alone time when I need it. But marrying someone, pff please. I don't depend on men, I have my reasons.

We are also Mexicans and we all first learned Spanish then English so that we can keep our culture alive in us. Both my parents were born in Mexico in different places while me and my twin brother along with my two younger sisters, we were born in the US.

Being a Mexican is the best because the Mexican dishes my mother would make like mole, enchiladas, torta, and much more delicious stuff, although our mother is very dramatic and believes in a lot of myths.

Example, while your sweeping the floor, don't sweep across your feet, or else they're bad luck. Another example is that when your cooking something or anything, like mixing together a cake mix and let's say that you need to use the bathroom so you let someone else in charge of mixing the batter, you then come back with the cake mix, mixed in very well, then proceed to continue baking the cake. The final results isn't going to be the same if you just did it all by yourself.

There are many other things but I can name them later. Mother also told us stories that she used to be in the mafia, but both father and mother quit when mother gave birth to me and my brother. My father had unfinished business and died under the hands of a mafia leader somewhere in Italy.

Therefore mother has me and brother trining everyday for 5 hours because she lives under fear that one day we are going to face the same situations they did.

Excuse my grammar, this is my first book and I hope you enjoy this as much as I did trying to this. I'm also very random and somewhat creative so I decided to make this book. But like i said, excuse my grammar because sometimes I don't catch autocorrect correcting my spelling into different words.

I also hate English/Reading class (don't know the difference with both my classes) which is when we go over grammar stuff or teaching us the adjectives,like bro whats a verb 😭❓

(Also keep in mind that every chapter is over 1000 words :))
