"That's the site its on the outskirts of modern day Hastinapur and is believed to be a small part of Hastinapur of five thousand years ago" Mr Sinha said as he was briefing about an excavation that was to be conducted on the outskirts of modern day Hastinapur based on some research he did on Mahabharat.

" But are you sure that you will find what you are searching for Mr Sinha" asked a senior who was patiently listening whatever Mr Sinha had to say

"I believe so sir, also its logical to look around the area, literature evidences suggests that its heading in the right direction, geologists and biologists have also confirmed the findings from there. Now its time we archaeologists get to work  Mr Dhillon" replied Mr Sinha

"Sorry I'm late gentlemen but here are a few literature and contemporary work of the time that may be of help for this project, it took a bit of time to actually get this sorted" a girl said as she juggled with a few manuscripts and files as she entered the space and looked apologetically at them as the two elderly men shook their head at her, it was always like this but she was also among the best they had.

"Ms Amritha Bharadwaj, I would really appreciate if you actually took help when it was required and not do everything on your own" Mr Sinha chided the young woman who was now known as Amritha who sheepishly smiled as the assistant of Mr Sinha took some of them from her and placed them

"Actually Mr Sinha I was too focussed and forgot about that, a bad habit but can't really help it" Amritha replied in an innocent tone which had the seniors rolling their eyes

"You are assisting me Amritha, I can't trust anyone else when it comes to the quality of work" Mr Sinha said and Amritha looked pale as if the man had asked her to give up her life

"I'm afraid I can't come this week sir, I have a family meeting to attend" Amritha said slowly as she started fidgeting the file she was now holding

"Come on Amritha, you can't avoid this and you can surely make up an excuse academics is important" Mr Dhillon said seriously

"I wish I could say that sir, but it has to do with the ancestry of the Bharadwajs  the city of Hastinapur my family loathes despite it being the place where we started from" Amritha said as a lone drop of tear escaped her eyes, well that was a partial reason the other had to do with the current state of the family she lived in

"What does it have to do with your family?" Mr Dhillon asked as Mr Sinha seemed to be in thoughts as the former looked at  her sceptically

"The city where the cursed dyut sabha took place and responsible for one of our most celebrated members of the family to be cursed and live a life of suffering to this day is what has us loathing the city of Hastinapur, there were only a handful of people who we hold close to our heart in that city but that's it, otherwise the city has not really given us anything other than suffering" Amritha said as she recounted the details she was told since her childhood

"You mean you trace your ancestry back to the son of Dronacharya, Ashwatthama. Now it makes it all the more important for you to be a part of this project , we could not be more luckier Ms Bhardwaj, you have details that not many history books have and you know that this is history. Now I'm not taking any excuse" exclaimed Mr Sinha, this was a golden opportunity according to him and he was indeed happy to know that his student was acknowledging things not many were ready to believe and the fact that she was a descendant of one of the most prominent figures only made him beam at her, the zeal of learning and staying true to herself something he had observed and admired about the girl. He really wanted to to be the one to guide her if she wanted him to, there was so much to learn from her he thought.

"I doubt sir, I'm sorry I will take my leave. Doing this is just like burning myself alive" Amritha said and turned to leave

"I think I will have to fail your grades if you are not doing this, and be professional Ms Bharadwaj I don't like this behaviour" Mr Dhillon said and Amritha turned around now that was not something she wanted to hear
