Water splashed across Auden's feet as she ran down the cold, wet streets of Dublin. Her soaking wet dress clung to the curves of her body and her blonde hair stuck to her face as she rushed as fast as she could. Many street goers gave her wild looks, and she didn't blame them. God only knew how crazy she looked sprinting down the street, bare foot, with makeup streaking her face. Her bare feet ached in pain from the rough sidewalk but Auden was too lost in her anger fueled thoughts to even realize it. Her mind was on Cillian.

She had a million things to say to him in this moment. She wanted to scream at him for keeping this secret from her - She felt betrayed that Cillian didn't tell her the truth about Patrick, that he would rather have her hurt than protected. At the same time, she wanted to wrap her body around him and hold him so tightly that the pain from his divorce, the pain that Patrick and his ex-wife caused, would melt away into the nothing. She knew she played apart in that pain as well. Auden was aware of the effect that her budding relationship had on him. And knowing she has caused him avoidable pain made her heart break.

Auden was panting when she finally reached his front door. She silently cursed herself for smoking - she could feel the effects of it now. After throwing her heels back on, Auden balled up her fists and pounded loudly against the wood. She was breathing so hard that she forced herself to take a few deep breaths as she waited. Her legs throbbed as she began feeling weak from running so hard.

Auden was about to bang on the door again when Cillian cracked it open. A look of shock formed across his face when he saw her, pulling the door open entirely. He was wearing nothing but black sweatpants and a gray t-shirt. "Auden? Why aren't you at the gallery?"

"Why didn't you tell me?" She demanded, her anger building more as faced him.

Cillian's eyes filled with confusion, "What are you talking about?" His blue stare trailed over her body, taking in her soaking wet dress. "Did you walk here?"

"Why didn't you tell me Patrick slept with your wife?!" She yelled a little too loudly.

His eyes grew wide, and he quickly looked behind him before stepping outside in the rain and closing the door. "Will you keep it down? Charlie's asleep," He said quietly.
